Alright heres my situation,
Its not really a longue, but im setting a room up in my house to pretty much be my smoking lounge and was hoping you all would have some good input and ideas cause i have a few, but not set on them..

The room isnt big, but its not bad.. So far i have a black futon, burgundy chair, computer desk with a nice computer, big ass tv on a stand, 4 big speakers..

The desk, speakers, nightstand and shelf i have in here is a dark wooden color.

My idea first is painting, ive always enjoyed a new orleans style room and what better color than a nice solid burgundy, ive had mixed feelings on using the color and id like to know your ideas..

Other than that i want to get some nice black tall lamps, a few blacklights for night, i already have some blacklight posters, id like some nice kinda into "soul" aspect of new orleans type paintings.. thanks in advance, i need ideas quick!!

Before I even read your whole post I was thinking paint the room burgundy. That would give off a chill vibe. Comfortable chairs are a must. Maybe a bean-bag chair or something. maybe a small table in the middle of the room that you could arange the chairs around. That way you could use it for rolling/resting the bong on. Some nice posters would be good to.

damn, that makes me want to make my own little lounge, too bad I have no way to make one, only thing I can do is put up posters and sh*t, but your lounge sounds pretty cool, and skyhigh's idea of a table in the middle of the room sounds cool, but what also be cool is having an incense center maybe on like an end table somewhere, just throw out the diff. types of incense and light em up... peace man.

bean bags are a must nothing is more comfortable if you have a big bean bag. What about a lava lamp? You need a good place to keep the remote cause you dont wanna lose that when your cememted in on that bean bag.

I like the central table idea. I'd recommend a cool glass one, and then arrange the beanbag chairs around it, but make sure it's a low table. If you wanted, you could get a few nice overstuffed armchairs, if you can afford it, and put them around the room. Maybe find one with a built in remote control receptacle so you wouldn't lose it. You could wire the blacklights up so you could use a remote control, too, and mount them right in front of the posters, so if you were in a blacklight mood, just press a button and they're on. You should probably also set up a pipe cabinet. Even if you only have a few now, maybe get a small one just to display your assorted devices.

There are many things you can do. Are you on a budget?

lol a water fountain??? no way.. that would be sick but no way.. Get the table idea, bean bag chairs, xbox or ps2.. and of course super nintend with mario.. Its so much fun.. Hope this helps
