Hey guys, browsed this board for a long time, thought i would post.

i was thinking about sumthing.. ok, i got this friend of mine high once (it was her first time). she got high like A HALF HOUR after taking her last hit (took a good amount of hits, like 10 from a corn pipe). I got ripped as usual (i get high while im packing the bowl jus thinking about getting high). but anyway, so she got high a half hour later.. NOW, second time she smokes.. i roll a blunt for her. i get high as usual. This time, HOWEVER, she does NOT get high, at all. and she took a good amount of hits.. more than me.

what do you guys think it is? shes about 100 pounds... the only thing i could think of is that she has low blood pressure(?)... oh and she has very slight asthma in that she starts coughing sometimes after strenuous activity.

Has anyone had similar experiences of just now getting high or getting high real late?

I thought it might have to do with body type or sumthing??

She might of been too stoned to notice she was any higher or sometimes after I smoke, I take a break and come back to the bong, and it takes a greater amount to get me high since my High from the last time I smoked has already reached its peek and I am coming down!

Also I get high while still smoking, I never experience a high minutes after smoking, only once I have and this was a type of weed called "Kreeper" after about 10 minutes I noticed my high crawling up on me and hit me out of nowhere.

I remember the first time I got high. It was really great. I was with a friend, sitting in my first apartment, and I swear I was seeing and hearing things. I have always thought the first high you ever get is the best one you "may" ever get. Even taking a 3 year break, the first time I smoked again was nothing like the first time ever.

However, my husband sounds just like your friend. I shared a joint with my husband, then boyfriend, and he said he didn't get high. He smoked a couple more sessions, still feeling nothing. I was confused and kinda mad because I knew what we were smoking was great stuff. I was getting stoned from less smoke than my husband was taking in, yet he felt nothing.

So, we try for the famous, third times a charm. On the third session, my husband got really high. It was funny. I wont go into details, but I laughed a lot and so did he.

Maybe it will just take a few times with your friend, like it did with my husband. I have people say they didn't get high after smoking, but it was rare. I do know people who are allergic to marijuana, but they get sick after smoking. They don't just not get a buzz.

I'm sure the problem will resolve itself soon. Try different strains or types of weed on her and see if that might work.

I highly doubt it's her blood pressure. A person's form (especially a new smoker's) changes drastically between smoking paraphernalia. Maybe she just sucks at hitting blunts? Maybe coach her into inhaling correctly, as that is a very common noooooob! problem.

yeah, right after she's inhaled jump on her and slam a plastic bag over her head. alternatively use a lung or a grav bong or something.

ok. i been thinkin solved it. get some fire. about an once and smoke it striaght to the head in one room (bed room). cover the cracks of doors and vents. dont let smoke leave room. roll godys, pack gravitys, hard hitten bongs, and shotgun like a mother f@cker. shell be very enjoyable high. if it doesnt work get a refund.

I'm a new smoker, but I have heard sometimes it is because they dont take it in right that they dont get high maybe she should smoke another pipe and see if she gets high?

ohhh man.. my first time... it was the best.. theres sumthing about the 1st time, its like u dun no wat to expect... next thing u know.. ur jumpin around ON cars (literally).

im very sensitive to weed.. i mean, while im rolling a blunt, i'll start feeling high.. but i guess thats jus psychological... who knows, maybe my THC receptors jus wont let that TCH go,

shotguns will force that smoke into her lungs. try puttin a over her face upside down and put the blunt backwards in your mouth and blow smoke out tof the blunt into the openin part between bill and top of her head and tell her to suck in all the smoke untill theres no more. hold the hat to face and keep blowin that smoke. shell caugh her ass off. it works evertime.
