| ok here's the deal: i'm trying to figure out where to go next summer for vacation. i just got back from the bahamas and i was extremely disappointed with the quality of bud there. i know jamaica would be no disappointment, but i just got back from doing the whole islands thing, mon. so i want you all to imagine that you had a free vacation to either vancouver (or if there's a better city in canada for bud please let me know) or jamaica now you have to decide where to go. it's very likely that my vacation will be a result of this board so please think about this. give me the pros and cons of each place. thanks and peace

| I'd go to vancouver as of right now, just because of the fact that BC has some of the best bud and the police are farely relaxed about the whole pot thing, but I here Jamaica might decriminalize, or something to that extent. So then I would definately go to jamaica. I have been to vancouver before and I loved it. Your best bet though is always amsterdam when it comes to buds! ![]() |

| Never been to Vancouver, but Jamaica was the best week of my life. Cheap, high quality weed (some people will try to sell schwaggy stuff, but I laughed and moved on), not to mention any other substance one way wish to indulge in. owever, even if I somehow ended up weedless there (a near impossibility, i might add) i still would have had an excellent time. The Jamaican culture is amazing, and so is their food. the island is beautiful, and I'm not talking just the beaches.....the mountains of jamaica are fascinating, and you're sure to meet some interesting people and get a taste of the "real" Jamaica, as opposed to the beach areas where everything is catered towards the average tourist. if you Do go to jamaica, get out and see it. you'll hear all kinds of negativity concerning Jamaica and crime, but I can honestly say I never once felt threatened, and actually felt safer there than many areas of the US. Just respect the people there, and you'll earn their respect in turn. If you make an ass outta yourself though, be prepared for some problems.....the respect thing runs DEEP in jamaica, so whatever you do, don't act as if you are superior just because you may have a little cash....things don't work that way there

| It really depends on what you prefer. Personally, I would say go check out Vancouver since you just did the "tropical" thing. There's a lot of awesome scenery around Vancouver and plenty of buds too to enjoy it with. If you do decide on Vancouver......you should definitely plan on doing some sightseeing and drive north of the city for about an hour and a half to Whistler. Awesome ski resort town with lots to do in the summer too. Never been to Jamaica but I have heard some stories about it. It just seems that you would have to be more careful there......especially once you leave the resort areas. Higher crime rates than BC I guess. Hawaii is my fav. for tropical vacations but I would love to check out Tahiti. Vancouver, BC IMO. ![]()

| Jamaica, that's where I plan to retire and live out the last smoking days of my life. Vancouver would just remind me of normal working life I suppose, already I've heard some good things about their green. |
