after smoking from joints for the past few months...i felt my throat a lil itchy...i looked in the mirror and i saw some white spots near the back of my throat (3 maybe )...are these from just a sore throat? or do i need a break from joints...or smoking....

My guess is strep throat personally, but then again, I'm not a Dr, or nor do I pretend to be....however, seeing a Dr might be a good idea, because otherwise ou may infect many more people. I've had it before, on multiple occasions as a child, and it SUCKS

Id agree with TMK
I just spent 3 months and $2000 trying to get rid of strep throat.
I tried anti-biotics for 5 rounds at $50-80 each, and ended up having to have a tonsilectomy wich after insurance covered came out ton being around $1700

I am not a Dr tho and donot pretent to be, I would suggest going to one and finding out, as strep throat is contageous and IMHO shoulden't be taken lightly, as you can see from my expenses this year.

yeah definitly strep throat that was the first thing i thought when i saw the title. that is what my mom said indicated strep throat when she was looking to see what was up with my throat. i trust she sort of knows that she is talking about not because she is DR. but has worked wiht childre most of here life and now teaches people to work wiht children.

thanks for all the comments...i guess im gonna go get a check-up...but from what im reading...it looks cheaper to FLY to canada and get treated there....

And people wonder why I want to move to canada.. I have carpal tunnel syndrome and every year my hands get worse.. going to need surgery for that.. I got a gimpy left foot that probably does too.

I hate the USA because medical system(among other things) and their overpriced raping of near poverty level people. I make to much to get medacaid, and to little to pay my bills.

If I had the oppurtunity to move to canada, and the $$$ to doso I'd leave america in my dust storm.

Glad to hear yer going to the Dr, incase you may be contageous.

Get yourself to a doctor and get some anti-biotics and dont stop taking them til they are ALL gone...I had a problem for a few months with a recurring case o' strep that wasn't any fun to deal with because I didnt finish the medication when I should have.

Go to the Doc.... he'll hook you up with some meds so you feel better.
