It kind of sucks, unless they have weed of course.
I was at a party, and had maybe a dime of mids on me and my friends had about the same. We both had pipes and we initially planned to smoke these 3 girls out with us..
but a couple of hours later, ALL of our weed was gone. We each probably loaded 4 bowls and someone else had a pipe and had a bowl or two. People need to start bringing their own weed, dont come empty handed.

yea, i hate when that happens. heres what pisses me off more:

Ive got a buddy who has 2 roomates at their appartment.
He invites me over to blitz- i head over expecting to smoke a bowl of his, then one of mine. Turns out, I ended up packing like three bowls and he packed one cause it was the last of his and his two douche roomates decided to come sit in uninvited.

Same guy, another time:
He invites me over to blitz and i head over- I get there and he sits there and shoots the **** with me for awhile. Im like "So you gunna break it out soon?" and he looks at me, straight-faced, no emotion and says "I dont have any, your gunna smoke me out right?" I about ****ing took the bass I was holding (electric bass- one of his roomates plays) and smashed his head in. I ended up packing a couple though with the thoughts "well hell, i drove out here- might as well"

That SUCKS. I wouldn't hang out with that guy anymore.

Not only do people I hang out with occasionally expect me to smoke them up, but they make me drive every time, which is equally annoying.

I got a new car recently, so when I got it, I naturally had to go for a couple rides to 'break it in.' So I brought a couple friends along that I started smoking with back in high school and we drove for a while. I was hoping to drive for maybe an hour, at most. But they kept saying they didn't have anywhere else to go, and that they'd give me gas money. So after like three hours of driving, we finally call it a night.

They get out of the car. No gas money. I smoked with them the next day, still no gas money. I figured they just forgot about it, so I let it go. A couple days later, they called me to see if I wanted to go for a ride with them. I assumed that since they were inviting me, that they'd be driving. I meet them over at their house, and they both gave lame excuses for not being able to drive, so I end up just agreeing to it. Once we had already left their house, they tell me they've only got like half a bowl left of some stuff they had started smoking before I got there, and they didn't have anything else. So, naturally, they assumed I'd smoke them out. This time, no mention of gas money at all, even after I drove for at least an hour and a half.

And the best part: this was all taking place when gas was almost $3.19 a gallon.

They've called to smoke with me a couple times since then, and I just outright refuse. One of them also burnt a hole in the seat of my brand new f***ing car by dropping a bowl and not picking up the cherry that fell out of it, but that's another story altogether.

Sorry this is long, I'm extremely high right now, and I just drank a latte.

See, this type of thing is never an issue with me. If I have some, I'm willing to share. 99% of my smoking was done with a select group of friends, and we look out for one another. Some days, one of us would have a coupls oz's and maybe some of us had none.....the person holding wouldn't have any problem blazing us up all day....because the next time, the roles may be reveresed, and none of us are the types to hold out. If we're all running low, or only one of us had just a tiny bit, we'd still get high....we just wouldn't smoke like we would on a typical day. If any of us had any amount, we'd share. I can understand it being different when you're younger or whatever, but I liked my situation.....if you're too stingy to share with friends, you're not cool enough o be hanging out with, IMO. I simply quit hanging out with moochers that never returned the favor. Hell, my friends have given me bags when I was out....not like a couple of bowls, but like a 1/4 at a time, just because they know what its like to be out and not able to get/afford more for awhile, and I've done the same for them.

I get people like that sometimes..or theyll have bud and hold out.. which is BS if you ask me. Specially those uninvited people or the people who expect you to just smoke them out automatically. That kinda stuff pisses me off. I think weed is something you share... not what you hold out.

It varies for me. I'll gladly smoke out a lot of my friends, because I know they'd return the favor. My sister and I are the same way - if I have some and she doesn't, I'll share mine. I even gave her the rest of my stash when she went dry, and she helps me out when I need it.

But, with certain people, it's just not ok. Some people expect me to smoke them up every time and they never buy anything or contribute in any way at all. Of course, these are the same people who expect me to drive all the time, buy them something to eat when they get the munchies, etc. I'll never forget how POed I was when some people and I went out for some dinner after I smoked them up, and AFTER WE ATE, they told me they didn't have any money. I only had enough to cover my own meal, so I had to go to an ATM to get money to pay for their stupidity. Now, that p***ed me off.

And there's a very easy solution to that problem....simply refuse to smoke up/hang out with those kind of people. Just because you've been a sucker in days gone by doesn't mean that you have to continue to do so. Someday, after they pull something like that, simply set them straight- "I'm not smoking with you guys anymore. I've smoked you up the past x number of times,and you haven't contributed jack sh!t. If you want to continue being my friend, you'll respect me as ine, and not expect me to provide you with everything you can't afford on your own" Two things will likely happen. Either they'll think you're a total bi@ch and not want to hang out with you, or they'll realize that it isn't cool taking advantage of you nonstop,and if they want to continue to hang out they'll pull their own weight in the friendship. Either way, you wind up winning.

Seems like the common thread here is us potheads become pot trees for our lazy friends; shake us enough and bud falls out of our pockets. I'd say 25-35% of the weed I buy is smoked by other people, and I'm talking a couple ounces/month. Where I live that works out to about $150/month that I spend getting other people high. It kind of sucks but my hope is that others will one day start to follow my example. Lots of times I smoke up virtual strangers and they offer me some money, but I just tell them that a)I'm not a dealer and b)one day they'll have weed and someone else won't, and on that day they should think of me and share.

I try not to hang out with those people anymore. It's one thing to help them out a couple times, and maybe just be a generous person when they're being stupid, but, fool me enough times and I'll learn better.
