why do 14 to 18 year olds act so foolishly they act so obnoxious like I am taking the train home from work loaded with a bunch kids screaming acting really annoying. The girls with there high pitch screams and slutty innuendoes and the guys were constantly throwing paper and there book bags at each other.

After taking all I can bear I moved to another car on the train only to be subjected to the same **** different kids, but same behavior it is every where in every town it is just the way they act I guess. It is a right of passage Foolishness is tied up in the heart of the young. Young people are fools its just a right of passage.

You've heard this before obnoxious teens well I guess that is the age when people act most obnoxious they will out grow it.


So I am going to have to say people are most obnoxious when they are teens.

I know many teenagers who aren't and many who are....
I also know some 20 some year olds and olders who act like they're 13 and have no maturity....
You really are just grouping all teenagers together into a single sterotype..... which is wrong

iam within 14-18. i once had a stepbrother who was 19. he was way more obnoxious then me. . but **** dude, i think ur thinking of the word immature, im not immature. i think you are confising the kids with like 11-12 year olds, those little mother ****ers annoy the **** out of me. every thing is about sex and the fags never shut up.

i fit your age description and feel that i'm not obnoxious. there are occassions (quite rare) that i will get a little out of hand, usually with friends. but for the most part i am quite relaxed.

i think whether or not you're obnoxious just depends on the type of person you are. you really can't narrow it down to a specific age group because there are 30 year olds that are obnoxious and 10 year olds that are mature.

seriously though, if you'd been institutionalised all day with your clique you'd be an obnoxious bastard too the truth is your one of the masses of damned now: working for paycheques rather than a grade or the threat of the unkown (which ironically turns out to be employment any way ...damned if you do, damned if you don't ). sobering thoughts, huh?

just think, in five years time these same kids are gona be out on their own after a hard day's slapping cement over foundations or lifting packs of slate up a ladder, and they're gona be the ones getting pissed at a group of teenage *****es singing along to greenday getting heavy on their ipods... holy ****, i just thought: in five years time greenday are gona be NOSTALGIA! anybody up for a suicide pact?

seriously: we all (as a society) pretty much find an equilibrium in our mutual bitterness (i'm pretty sure if you did the math you'd find a formula). think about it: the people that don't either find god/kill people/kill themselves. this is proportional in the equilibrium to general bitterness. morale of the story: become a bitter asshole or face violent schizophreniform disorders and suicide

From my own experience, it seems to be freshmen in highschool that are the most retarded.

I think it's mainly because they're at that stage where they care about how they appear to everyone (hence, this is also the age where they start dressing slutty because they like the attention. And going to the mall in herds on Friday nights.) and so they believe that by being obnoxious and annoying, they're being "cool". I don't think that they purposefully intend to be annoying, they just think by being rude and slutty they're giving off the aura of nonchalance and "coolness".

And then as they start getting older (usually) they realize that no, it doesn't make them look cool just because they're acting like retards.


I'm 16 and I don't think I'm obnoxious, just weird.
