| So everyone from new jersey has probobly heard of him and if your not from nj then hes a marijuana activist running for govener of jersey to replace govenor cody. So is anyone going to vote for him? Im too young to vote and im dont follow politics really closely, but from what ive seen many people dont like corozine or the other guy and might end up voting for him just to not give either of them a vote. The guy knows he wont win but wants to run just to piss poeple off and raise awarness. So is anyone here actually gonna vote for him next week? |

| People like weedman do just as much harm as good in the battle for legalization. His defiant attitude simply reinforces the idea among the public at large that marijuana users are outlaws and radicals, because thats the image he perpatrates in the name of cannabis. I mean, who really thinks that lighting a joint in the legislative chambers during a session is really going to make people change their opinions on cannabis. Hes a publicity whore. I'm all for legalization, but I couldn't bring myself to vote for this guy. I've actually had opprotunity to let him know exactly how I felt on another forum awhile back, and his response to my criticism only reinforced my belief that he is far from the ideal spkesperson for the legalization cause.

| Yeah, I'm not too crazy about the guy either. Apparently, he sent a picture of his ass to the New Jersey State Legislature because they wouldn't allow him to have a rally or something. Plus, if you actually read some of his writings, they are so peppered with grammar mistakes and illogical arguments that he clearly is doing damage to the cause. But I absolutely despise both Corzine and Forrester. If I could vote (I'm still 17 ), I would be voting for Jeffrey Pawlowski, the Libertarian Candidate. |

| im voting for him. im sure a lot of people are going to vote for him also. if you look on his webpage njweedman.com, follow the links to his myspace and facebook. he has a lot of supporters. some of the things he does may be hurting the cause, but he is also encouraging people to stand up for what the think/know is right.

| it all depends on how he goes about his cause..from what ive read in this thread it doesnt sound like hes making a good name for himself, yea hes for legalization of marijuana but like someone said in a previous post is he really making the name we want for ourselves? smoking pot is in no way harmful and rebellious in my opinion and i dont know if i like what ive heard about this guy..but hey it doesnt really matter because i live in Pennsylvania.. |
