Sup, i plan to drive to Canada soon to pick up weed for cheap. Around what price can I pick up a QP for? Is it easy to sneak back to the states? What involvements are there? Thanks

hey man i live in canada its different all accross canada and depends were ur going but avereage 500 for just a qp depends who u get it from, but do you really want to screw your life up just to get some weed, cause the chances are u will get caught. just to tell u its not worth making a few extra bucks by selling some weed, not for the penalties america has. but thats only my opinion

Yeah dude, you'd prolly be better off growing your own. Getting caught trying to cross the border with that much pot would put you in a heap of trouble. If you're gonna attempt it though, you better find a real good way of concealing it and let us know what it is.

I think you should do some research if you were serious about this. Like what kind of checks they do in customs and if maybe you should keep it on yourself or in your bags under the plane. When I went to Chile this summer the customs searches are serious when you are traveling back to the states. They check everything and confinscate anything.

When you've deicided whether or not to do this let us know... and then how it went.

Pumpman, if we closed every thread that may make a cop's job easier, we wouldn't have a forum here. Do you have any clue as to the number of 'hiding place" or "scent coverup" threads there are on these forums? Truth be told, the cops could porbably tell US better hiding places than we would ever wind up telling THEM. Hate to break the news to you, but the cops deal with drug traffiking every day.....they know more about it then we could dream of knowing

He didn't say anything about taking pot on a plane, he said he would be driving to Canada.

What if he went to Canada with a few friends and each one of them put about a ounce on themself. Could they still be charged with a QP if caught or would each person if caught just face a possession of a ounce of marijuana charge? I still think even a ounce of pot they could probably try to push a smuggling charge if your attempting to bring it across the border.

Then again if you were going to take a trip up there and another friend drove up also, you would be able to put 2 ounces in 1 car and 2 ounces in another car. Even to just get it cheaper up there, it doesn't seem worth the risk to try and get it back across the border.

This person could be a cop but either way they asked a question. I don't see why a cop would even waste time tryin to figure out how people conceal somethin when all they need is a k-9 to do that for them. I can't be sure but i don't think this person is a cop anyway.

It's a smuggling charge if your caught, possibly with just any amount going over the border, but 4 ounces i know is a trafficking charge, even if your just in the U.S with it and not crossing a border.

I'm not too familiar with the possession laws but IF the law for carrying 4 ounces(trafficking amount) isn't any different than someone carrying a pound, i would probably go for a pound instead of 4 ounces if the penalty for getting caught remained the same and if i was going to take the risk. I'm not telling you to do that either, i'm just tryin to make a point. It's like someone risking jail to embezzle $1,000. They would probably be facing the same amount of time if they went big and embezzled $100,000 if the penalty remained the same no matter what.

People can tell you how to conceal pot all they want but in my opinion if they get a dog out, your screwed. I have a friend who has relatives in Canada. When he goes up to visit them, when he drives back, he won't take more than a ounce with him if he brings any weed back. The temptation is there to bring back more because of reasonable prices but it's not worth it.

You probably would be better off growing your own, but also if your caught doing that you could end up in a heap of trouble too even if the plant was just going to yeild a 8th or a ounce. If you grew it in your house, you risk losing the property if caught. I'm not sure how the law works though if someone grows it out in the woods somewhere on state property. Theres another forum for the growing subject, but to finish up on the 4 ounces thing, i wouldn't bother risking it.

If you became friends with people in the state of Vermont, right next to Canada, they still have good bud too and possibly reasonable prices and you wouldn't have to worry about crossing borders, only worry would be getting pulled over. There was a article on this site not too long ago about a large amount of people in Vermont that support marijuana. Canada isn't the only place that has good pot, theres a lot of growers in this country and Vermont is known as one of those places to have good bud. You might not find pot as cheap as you might in Canada but it's still possible that people in Vermont would have reasonable prices on a few ounces, but i can't be sure.

My advice would be to just forget about tryin to bring that amount back from Canada.

4 ozs in and of itself doesn't constitute a traffiking charge. Care to share where you heard that? It MAY possibly, IN SOME JURISDICTIONS but it is NOT a UNIVERSAL thing in EVERY state. You need to brush up on your laws before spreading that kind of information. In some states, possessing even a pound doesn't automatically earn you trafficking charges....felony possession, yes, but thats far different than a trafficking charge. In orer to be charged with trafficking, distribution, intent to distribute, etc. it often requires much more proof than a certain amount of pot.

Also, saying getting good cheap bud in Vermont is a possibility, while true, is a little inaccurate as well. yes, good pot can be obtained cheaply in Vermont....just like it can in 49 other states. In the weed business, its about who you know, not where you're at. High qaulity buds can be had for resopnable prices anywhere, if you know the right people. Vermont is probably no exception to this, but without knowing anyone, you're not going to get any "sweet deals". Sweet deals come with time and trust, not a drive to a certain state.
