why are people so bitchy about smoking? like WTF!! i smoke about 3 times a week and most people dont even kno that, and im at lunch talking to a former pothead and i asked him "so hows baseball?" (now i dont play sports but i go to the gym every single day)
so the kid goes "its good, how bout ur sports? ur the most athletic kid i kno you dont play any sports, hows smoking weed u fucking pothead, actualy why dont you go skip school and go drive around and find someone to suck their **** for some weed." and then a bunch of other kids join in and blah blah blah pothead blah.. like why do they steriotype so much? i have been going to the gym for years and i am so much bigger than that kid and i could wreck him but cuz im a "pothead" i am nothing but a "little cocksucking skinny drug addict that would do anything for bud."

i know how you feel. when i worked at a certain retail chain a bunch of people there were all about the assmptions on weed. (kinda funny its like everyone there either smoked weed or was anti-weed kinda funny). the people who were anti-weed though i proved wrong on more than one ocassion.

(in the middle of an example conversation)
some chick "well weed isn't legal. how do u know what you're really getting anyways"
me "well i know what you're getting everytime you smoke cigarettes(she smoked)...and it aint pretty"
chick "cigarettes and alcohol are legal though. why would they make it legal if it isn't safe?"
me "profit. theres a variety of factors why weed isn't legal but it has more to do with politics and less to do with the health risks"
chick "one joint has as much tar as 5 cigarettes and besides i know so many people who ruined their life with weed"
me "anything you smoke it going to have toxins that activate at a high temperature. as far as people ruining their lives... people who get hopelessly addicted to anything can ruin their lives. pills, alcohol, over-the-counter drugs, the list goes on and on. it dosent have to be illegal for people to become addicted."

misconceptions are everywhere. dont let someone pass off an assumption as a fact. if you cant convince them, the least you can do is prove them wrong.

I hate ignorant people.. damn. A few people (who smoke ciggs) have told me how 'bad' herb is for you. How it's 100x worse than ciggs. But they never give any proof. It really annoys the shit out of me. Luckily I'm rarely around anti-stoners, it actually makes me laugh now when someone is that ignorant.

It's something you deal with in school, and then not too long after. After high school, first impressions are even more important, so unless u meet them with 2 joints hanging out of ur mouth, they really dont think of u as a pothead even if u do smoke..

Also, I wouldn't say I hate him, for saying that your just as bad as he is. Sure he is ignorant, no need to be hateful though.

Although I dislike uninformed and ignorant folk, I find it my job to enlighten them.
