Yeah, the topic pretty much says it all. Case in point: I'm in high school still and I plan to go to college. I'm in a couple AP classes, so I get a lot of homework. Almost every night, my friend calls me to see if I want to blaze with him. I go sometimes, but oftentimes I have to stay home and do homework. When I do have to stay home, he always bitches about it and tries to convince me to go smoke, saying "you can do your homework later", or "you dont need to do it". Not to mention my other stoner friends that always try to convince me to ditch class to go smoke with them. I guess they don't realize the importance of school.

Sure, i love to go and smoke after school, and usally do, and yes i do skip classes to go and smoke.....

But that dosnt stop me from being in AP chemestry, AP Biology and AP envionmental science my junior year....

Just becuase your in the college classes dosnt mean people like me dont understand the importnance of school......We do, but we also know how to handle the classes and still go and have fun....


Hate is such a strong word, it is not needed....all hate does is produce conflicts in the long run....

Anyone who lives for just one thing is probably not too healthy either. (unless it's working out and living healthy lol...)

Either way, too much of anything is a bad thing and if you feel you shouldn't do it that often and you don't, then good for you for moderating yourself.

I suppose I was a little harsh. I didn't mean that if you aren't in college classes you don't know the importance of school. But these kids I'm talking about are the ones that fail all their classes and really don't give a shit about school. And one of them just found out he's having a kid. It just bothers the hell out of me when they constantly bother me to skip school and such to go smoke.

Trust me, I understand. I lost like 5 or 6 friends in highschool to stupid behaviour like that. They just start doing nothing but getting high and they just stop paying attention to any of their responsibilities.

However, from my experience it's deffinitley not the weed that does it, it's just the person's personality.
I have some friends including myself who smoked up all the time and never lost sight of their priorities, and I have friends who started off the same way and ended up going downhill.

Yeah... I mean, I love weed, and I think it's great, as long as you don't let it control your life.

I find that I do my homework/schoolwork pretty well blazed. I suppose some people just can't juggle smoking and school/work well. That's where responsibility comes in.

If you can't get things done when you're high, do them and then light up. But, unfortunately, not everyone gives a damn. If we want legalization, we're going to have to work for it. Opening the eyes of uneducated anti-marijuana activists isn't an easy task. You can't just sit around toking up all day, bitching about the "man" bringing you down (though I too have done so ) and expect change.

Its your choice to make. Make the choices you feel will benefi you, but its not your place to consistently condemn others who makes choices differnt than your own.
