Its not too long of a story, so... Just read along.

Me and my friend Kilah got back from a casual birthday party and we phone up our friend Ashley. Ashley tells us to meet her at the Dam (A park up the road) so we do. As we're walking, we see a pig pull out of an empty houses driveway with one of our friends bike in the back. We meet up with Ashley and she tells us this.
Her boyfriend Blake and his friend Steve had entered this empty house to smash in the walls. Of course, thats the reason they got arrested, and I'm compleatly agreeing with the cops on that one. However, when they got arrested the cops treated them like shit. Blake has dark skin and they constantly reffered to him as 'the native boy, the black boy, the dark boy' and Ashley specifically told them he has a name, and they said it didn't matter. They also forced a statement from her, and from what I know, she's a minor and minors don't have to give a statement if they don't want to.
Earlier that day, Ashley, steve and Blake had taken a football back from these three kids that had stolen it from them the day before. The three kids show up and tell the pigs that Ashley had been in the house too, smashing in walls with Steve and Blake, but she hadn't. She'd been outside the whole time playing with her puppy and sitting with Marlon and Tasi (Two other people who were there) So now Ashley is gonna get the chick who tried to get her arrested stomped, and I would too.
Another thing, when Steve got out of custody later that day, his wrists were raw 'cuz the police officer had put them on waaay too tight. Steve had even told them that.

mostly becouse they can be if needed. they might have felt pressured maybe not. i find its easier to steer clear of the law in any way shape or form. it gets hard sometimes.

[edit] why would your bf enter a house to smash walls in. ive had to put walls up working construction, and i assure you he would NOT want to be smashing them in if he put them up. i agree the way cops say things is bad, but your bf and friend deserve what they got as you agree

The house had been empty for a long time. We used to know the people that moved out, and we knew the bathroom window had no lock on it and you could get into the house. I dont know why the fuck they wanted to trash the house. I know other people that have trashed houses too, and I don't know what the hell kind of thrill they can get out of it. lol, I'm ranting...

you seem to be more intellegent than your bf. and alot more mature k+ for awsome karma, next house you guys peep out, just make sure you clean up... and dont take anything its a big problem for companies that take the houses, and must fix them up and follow code.

Yeah, the 'native boy' may be a little much, but I cant stand it when people get mad when you describe someone as being black, or brown, or whatever... It is no different than saying the 'blonde haired' boy or something like that, and isnt a big deal. If there were a group of black people with one white person, he would be referred to as 'the white guy.' I find that a lot of the time the racist comments come from people who are commenting on the alleged "racist" comment.

If I caught someone smashing in walls in a vacant house, Id do more than call the cops on them...

Well the slurs may have been to much, but I assure you they dont only put handcuffs tight on dark skinned people. Im white and live in a suburb area and have gotten my wrists chaffed everytime I have been handcuffed.

I have also worked construction and know that putting those walls up is hard. Empty or not someone owns it and someone has to fix the smashed walls. I suggest teaching your bf how to respect other people and be civilized.

yup....ubnless you're bleeding, they're not "too tight". Everytime I've been handcuffed (damn, that sounds bad) they've been uncomfortably tight, and I'ma blonde haired, blue eyed all American boy!

Shit, everytime Ive been handcuffed (That DOES sound bad) theyve never put them on tight enough to rub my wrists raw. Anyways, they could be in some serious shit, I know abandoned houses/houses under constuction around here get fucked up alot, and they have notices at each one saying that its a federal offense to even be on the property, let alone inside the house destroying it. What were they charged with, by the way?

Depending on the property owner its a Criminal Trespass for sure. But of course that will escalate if they're doing damage to the structure...Destruction of Private Property, Vandalism, etc...the more the damage costs depending on your state, it will cross over into a Felony, I THINK a Class D or E (statring over $1000 in NY State).

If the property is owned or being repaired by, say the FHA for low income families...then in theory, the federal Government is the title owner, so you could, again in theory be charged with destruction of Federal property...Its a puzzler that one, but I could see it happening. Short best answer...Don't F with other peoples things...

As for the handcuff thing...I've NEVER cuffed anyone too tight.....always used the latch to stop them from being too tight because it hurts like hell......

cops have power and power corrupts so wat are you gonna do tell the other police at the station they put my cuffs on to hard and it hurt me o and i was breaking the law but still it really hurt they dont care and the racist thing they all probably are racist and if they arent they dont care how they treated you this kinda thing happens all the time its sad but true
