This saturday, I'm heading off to mexico (cancun) with two friends for a week. We obviously plan on smoking some weed once there. Where is the safest place to get it from?

I know TM talked about getting it from the hotel in Jamaca, but I think mexicans might have a slightly different attitude. Or maybe I'm completely wrong.

I've also heard cabbies are good, but a quick search on the lounge found some negative dealings with them. Anyone have any newer experience?

I figured a street vendor that sells pipes (like most do) would be a good place to ask around, since last time I went one of them just offered it to me from across the market (though I polietly declined. Wasn't in the mood to smoke at the time).

Also, is there any slang thats good to use? Of course, marijuana IS a spanish word, but more modern slang might make people more cooperative? BTW, I speak spanish pretty well.

Any other tips would be great.

My sis just got back from Cancun, she said she went to see a Chiba, I guess its a Doc of some sort, he gave her prescriptions for everything including some pot.

"Mota" (pronounced mo-thaw) is what you'll be looking for over there. Marijuana would also work...

I'd be weary who you ask on the streets for it, a lot of mexicans over there don't fuck around. Since you'll be in Cancun though, you shouldn't worry too much, since it's mostly a tourist town.
