But anyways I'm from Michigan. Grew up in Northern Michigan and moved to Grand Rapids a year ago.

I lived in Michigan for a couple years.
I lived in Lincoln Park, Dearborne, Detroit (about 1/2 mile from where Malice Green was beat to death), and Ypsilanti.

I can't say it was a happy time.

It seems to me that 99.99999999999999999999% of the people I talk to who are from Michigan are from near the Detroit area. It pisses me off so much because I get the hopes up that someone might be from around where I am but EVERYBODY is near Detroit. Personally I can't stand that area but I grew up in the middle of no where so I'm not used to suburbia...yet.

When I played Everquest I'd talk to people from Michigan and I never met a single person from Michigan who wasn't from the Detroit area...so frustrating.

It makes sense though. It's a state of ~~10 million people and the 2nd largest city in Michigan (Grand Rapids) only has a population of 200,000 in the city, 600,000 in Kent County. And if you go north of Cadillac, Saginaw, or Mount Pleasant, you'll find about .06 people for every square mile of land.

Pothead4sure is the only person I can think of that's within an hour of me and I don't even know where she lives, just somewhere near by here.

Haha thats crazy innervision. everyone i know lives either in detroit or aroudn it.....never thought of that though. That would be a pain if you were tryingto meet new people or soemthing eh? ...
