i was reading the province newspaper the other day and came across an article saying that the potentcy of he marijuana from BC is getting more and more potent. i was just wondering what the kinda weed u guys get in the southern untied states is like.....ive lived in Vancouver all my life and ive been smoking bc bud everyday since i was 13...so whats the weed like down south ?? lol i heard it hardly gets you high lol some insight would be nice

The only reason that "BC Bud" is regarded as so strong is that the lax attitude toward marijuana in Canada (particularly British Columbia) means there are lots of growers, simply because there's little fear of getting raided & busted.
With more growers, there will be more growers who know what they are doing and grow for potency.

Anyone, anywhere can grow ultra-potent marijuana. There are just more risk involved in a lot of places, particularly the United States.

Good point. Indoor is indoor no matter where you get it from. Weed doesn't know the difference between a house in Texas and one in BC. The difference is because there's so much good bud being grown here, no one really bothers trying to sell schwag. Although a LOT of people up here bogue, supply definitely far exceeds demand, hence the awesome prices.

i havent smoked anywhere other than b.c. but mainland indoor and outdoor doesnt compare to the island's bud and i think theres a big difference in potency and the kind of high you get

i live in the south and believe me i can get some dank stuff. maybe not as cheap but im sure its just as good.

It doesn't really matter where the bud is growing just how it is grown. I have had some pretty good shit and some that wouldn't even get a mouse high. It all just depends.


Oh yeah and I live in the northern part of the US.

coming from a tennessean...there's some stuff floating around called trainwreck that is as potent as its name...in general however, the green down here is usually mid grade stuff...fluffy, light green, and great if ur just wanting to get high..hope this helps

I can't believe "potency" is still supposed to be a method of judging how "hard" of a drug marijuana is. It has already been shown that even insanely massive dosed of thc don't make weed dangerous. If high potency weed is supposed to be dangerous, then hash must be the king of all narcotics, be it crack, meth whatever...

Budder, which is also available in BC is generally 82% THC...I personally wouldnt do it, but Ive seen many people say hello to the exosphere after taking 1 hit.
