so i just wanted to tell you all that i took a short trip to SF thursday-friday
i went with my dad because he had some business meeting.
well we got there at 8 AM thursday, checked in to our hotel, the serrano hotel what is considered a 'boutique' hotel. boutique hotels are hotels that are unique, not like the hilton where they all look similiar. ours was pimpin, high high ceilings and crazy art and whanot.
the first thing we did was go down to the famous Haight/Ashbury area, and that was awesome. took a pic at the grateful dead house.
we just walked around there for awhile.
then we went to Fishermans Wharf, and ate at the Boudin bakery, famous for creating sourdough. this sourdough was different from other sourdoughs, that was how it should taste it was awesome sourdough.
oh yeah we took a trolly from our hotel to their(fishermans wharf).

we did some stuff there for awhile then later in the evening we went to dinner at 'maracech' authentic morrocan restaurant, famous place apparantly..
we had some very overpriced shishkabob and good soup and great hummous.
and some awesome nargilah(hookah), apple cinnamon, it was the tastiest ive ever had.
oh did i mention our hotel was 20 feet away from numerous oriental 'massage' parlors('massage' as in hooker club, haha), yea....plenty of thems.

the next day we went to Alcatraz island, a.k.a. The Rock. that place amazed me. definately a must do thing if you go to SF.

then my dad had his meeting so i was on my own for 4 hours. i went right over to Haight/Ashbury to 'pipe dreams' Haight St.'s very 1st smoke shop. and picked myself up a nice sherlock, and some glass jacks.
while i was down there i noticed multiple(lots) medicinal cannabis clubs, not hidden from view AT ALL. in fact they all had large neon cannabis leaves in their windows!
i went in one head shop/cannabis club. now you walk in and its just pipes and stuff, but it wasnt like a headhop normally is. headhops usually have a lot of peices, lots of colours, etc. this place had all white displays and each peice was a god 4-5 inches apart, each set at the exact same distance apart. i dunno it was weird to me. anywho you of course have to have a prescription for cannabis to go in their closed back room to buy any cannabis, which i dont yet.....cause im broke. but that whole store straight reeked, and even the sidewalk outside of it!

i didnt do much, but i did a lot for only being there 2 days. oh and i took a shitload of pics, if you want to see something in particular ill post some up. i got one of pipe dreams smoke shop.

i had a lot of fun there and definately want to go back for a much longer visit. i broke my pipe in as soon as i got home, and it hits awesome!

dude pipe dreams kinda sucks compared to distractions or haight ashbury smoke center. They are either across the street or down a block from pipe dreams.

i plan on going back, so ill probably be at some more headshops

i went to chineese new year a couple years ago...
i ate at the sourdough place and got some stone crab chowder
