Default Centralia, PA

Town has been suffering an underground coal fire, that has made it basically a ghost town. Some spots reaching temps of 1300 degrees on the surface, smoke comnig out of the ground, and route 61's 20 ft. subsidence, plus compelling stories from the remaining 11 people who live there, the zip code was revoked, and it is dangerous, on rainy days it looks like silent hill, foggy, smokey, thistown was the reason silent hill was turned into a movie.

I recently took a tripthere and it is just amazing, worth the long drive. Just awesome, theres a church still in use at halway up the one mountain.
