So I get a ride to the movies with my friend.
3-5 minutes I get there, cop cars are circling the parking lot. 2 of them get out and start walking towards us, everyone starts walking away and I stay talking on my phone (i didnt do anything so why leave?). Then the cops tell me to hang up my phone so I do. Then they start asking me my name and if I was on probation or parole, I tell them im on probation and they ask to search me. I say "go for it". While they are searching me I forget I have grits in my pocket so they take it out and I tell them they werent mine (bad move). With beers scattered around the benches where im at, I get nervous (im a minor). They start asking me if I sold 5 grams of bud and vikatins to a kid earlier. I tell them "no sir, i just got here not even 5 minutes ago". Then they start telling me "well the description matches what you a wearing, a sweat shirt with a cast on your right arm" (i have a warpped up splint on my hand covering my pinky). So while sitting there they take all my information and 1 of the cop leaves to go look me up on the computer in the car. Then I start thinking to myself "i know a kid with a sweat shirt and a cast on his right arm that was drinking beers when I came, and i know he smokes and sells bud and vikatins." so i tell the cop "excuse me" hes like "what?" i go "i know a kid with a cast and a sweat shirt" hes like "who?" "i got sit next to me, i dont want anyone hearing me snitching him out" so he sits next to me and i tell him the kids name, and that the kid was drinking when i got here, and the kid is a possible bud seller, and his cast is full arm black cast with a sweatshirt, and that he was sitting across the way at Golden Spoon. So the other cop comes and the cop i was talking to tells the other cop, so they decide to let me go without anything, he says "call someone and get picked up, your not lucky im charging you with those and for lieing to me". So I walk across the street, call my ride, and now im here posting this.


Tonight was a major bust. This won't look good if I have to tell my P.O. this. I hope she understands that this mistake was the police officers fault for pointing out the wrong kid.

I don't get why you would have snitched, they had no proof on you.
Snitching isn't cool man. You better hope the kid you snitched on doesn't read this.

and the only reason why i did that is because i didnt want to go through all the court dates (not to mention im already going to some every now and then for my current case) and pay all that money.

and they would have arrested me up right there and takin me to the station to question me and its not worth all that, my mom would be pissed.

They couldn't have possibly arrested you, you were not in possesion. Unless grits are something I am unaware of.
Edit: PNL, I agree with your strategy much more than snitching in itself, at least then they're looking for one of a whole lot of asian kids, rather than ratting out a kid purely because you didn't want to get in trouble.

With ciggarettes in your pocket they certainly couldn't have arrested you. I agree with Troublemaker, whatever comes around, goes around. Just be waiting for it I suppose.

you cracked under pressure......someday, somebody is going to snitch one YOU to take the heat off them. Its how life works.....you screw someone over, it comes back to you. They couldn't make any charges stick on you, as all they had was a vague description. You ratted off someone to get the cops off your ass, and you really didn't need to. Not too cool, IMO
