| Well its summer again and I am committed to losing weight. Im a 20 year old college student and I weigh between 200 and 220 lbs (smoking makes it vary from time to time). I used to play a lot of sports (like 3-4 years ago) and have a pretty muscular build but there is a bit of fat on top of the muscle that I need to get rid of. With proper diet and exercise how fast should I lose weight? I always hear that if you lose weight too fast it will be hard to keep off, is this true? Whats a decent amount of weight to lose per week (on average)? This is the first time I have actually tried to lose weight- i have always been heavier than the average for my height but the difference is that now I am out of shape (and it shows!) so any knowledge from previous experience is appreciated! |
