Wondering if anyone enjoys flying kites here? Maybe when you were younger? I've seen some really cool custom ones at the parks here.

Today is a rather windy day, a bit cloudy but its nice out. I just got really stoned ate a sandwich and now I am bring my kite out.

It's just a basic triangle one. 50'' wingspan. Costed like 8 bucks at the store. Cheap but works. It's a good way to relax the way away.

Anyways, I think flying a kite is fucking fun when your baked, provided you have optimal wind conditions and a nice day to do it on. Maybe a few friends to pass it off around or even fly together with.

Anyways, I'm off to fly a kite. Peace.

I used to love flying kites but I only ever had the shitty plastic ones that would break as soon as you crashed em once. Nowadays I see these badass kites that would have been bigger than I was at the time. Maybe I could get one for old time's sake.

I've never really tried to fly a kite, except for when I was much younger. I think I've got one around here somewhere, and maybe I'll get it out this summer.

I used to have those plastic ones too like with cartoon characters on them (Spider Man). Those were fun as hell!!!

i remember me and my buddy flew a kite one day.. we got it past the kite screen, so we went to get some bundles of yarn and fishing string. we had it way up there, so where you could barely see it, you could only see a little red dot.. then it started to get cloudy and rainy so we tryed reeling it in with our hands but it took forever.. so we took a screw gun and put it in the reel and pulled the trigger and it saved us about 45 minutes. =]

i just dreamed about kite flying a couple nights ago and yes i love to fly kites! right now i want to run down a steep hill with a kite flying behind me and feel the sun shining down on me and wind blowing in my face

cant wait to go to the beach and do it... never flown a kite at a beach before!

Yeah we went down and flew the kite today. We smoked a nice blunt before hand and I was feeling good all day. (well until now, but thats different story)

It was awesome. The wind was blowing so much. Some other people were flying kites too but the beach here is so fucking big it didn't matter. We played around for a good 2 and a half hour before we decided to go home because it was a little too windy.

So peaceful. I loved it.

Yeah, kites are cool. The ones made out of paper and stuff (i.e., craft-type ones, as opposed to the plastic ones you buy at K-Mart) are really neat-looking.

When I was a kid, the house we lived in had a hill behind it which led to an open grass field next to the local elementary school. My grandma would take my cousin and I down there in the spring and autumn to fly kites (the crappy plastic ones). I'd always get mine caught in a tree, but it was fun.
