| A PSP will burn time quickly during road trips... didn't see you list that in your supplies though. If your laptop uses windows there's a ton of games you can find for free on the net.... Do you have a way to charge the laptop battery while in the car ? I'd suggest keeping the weed in an airtight jar or something, for freshness & smell.

| I'd suggest a lot of reading- it's what I do in the car, usually. But some people get sick when they read on the road, because your sense of balance tells you your moving but your eyes are looking at something stationary. If you're cool with reading though, I'd suggest a book like The Brothers Karamazov or something. Books like that are long, and deep. Sometimes I can read a chapter, put down the book, and just think about it for a half hour, appreciating all the subtleties that the author uses. Avoid Dickens though. He may be long, but he's boring as hell. Light reading is fun, but it usually goes too quick for long car rides. Otherwise, music is always excellent, movies can be good... if you want some games for you computer, I'd recommend emulation. They're free, totally not hardware intensive, and most good emulators have versions for any OS. Personally, I prefer SNES emulation over other kinds because, in my opinion, the best console games were made for it. If you like RPGs, grab Chrono Trigger, FF6 (or 3, depending where you look. But you gotta be careful. Sometimes an FF3 rom is the Japanese FF3 which didn't come to the US until it came on the DS), FF5, Seiken Densetsu 3 (can find it totally translated), Earthbound, Terranigma and a whole bunch of other ones... get Super Metroid, Super Mario All Stars, Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda, Knights of the Round... there are TONS of great SNES games, a lot of which weren't brought to the US but were fan translated. Look around. You can also find emulators for GBA, Genesis, NES... lots of stuff. Good luck dude. |
