Default Drive-Thru Grinder/Sub/Hero/Hoagie Shops?

Why doesn't Quizno's have a drive-thru? Or Subway? D'Angelos? Anyone, anything?

Damn it, why can people get a bucket of chicken, a vat of mashed potatoes and a box of potato wedges without ever having to get their lazy selves out of the driver's seat and drag ass into KFC, and yet I can't go get a simple and yet so delicious grinder without having to actually go into the sub shop? Where is the justice? Seriously.

I'm hungry, but I'm high and I'm sitting here in my pjs and I don't want to go anywhere. It's such a pain in the ass to have to go get a grinder. You know, Subway should really corner the market on this. Former-fatass posterboy Jared wants to tell people to eat Subway twice a day to lose weight, yet he knows full-well that the people who really need to get slim don't in fact want to get out of their cars to enjoy a quick, easy meal. No fatty is dragging himself into Subway twice a day no matter how delicious and tasty the subs are, trust me. But I'm willing to bet he's more than willing to make a trip through the drive-thru every couple of hours, am I right?

Subs from home don't really have the same taste, you know? I mean, I could make one, but I'm only going to get a third of the way through it before I start to hate it.

What a freakin' dilemma.

Life sucks doesn't it...

I got some mexican style pizza rolls in the oven right now...

Oh and Mickey-D's needs to start delivering...even though they would need about 100 drivers per location, they could pull in some serious money.

Probably because you're not used to the unprocessed and fresh ingredients in a home made sub.

Now I'm not ripping on Subway, but it isn't as healthy or fresh as they make themselves up to be. Taking a look at the ingredients list of alot of their products (breads/meats/whatever) will tell you that. Take the Oven Roasted Chicken for example.... there's a lot more in that piece of meat than chicken.

Ah well, it's still good occasionally!

My D'angelos has a drive through. I think one of the reasons why there arent many drive throughs for places like that is because everyone likes to custom makes their sandwiches (lettuce, mayo, tomatoes, ect.), and i think it would be prone to screwing up often sinse those microphones are hard to understand anyways.

Yea or you could always get a sub or grinder from a lot of pizza places and get them to deliver it if you don't have a jimmy johns.

The problem I've always had with Subway is it's slogan, "Made fresh" or whatever it is. Yes, they put the ingredients in the bread in front of you, but how long have those ingredients been sitting there?

In terms of homemade vs. restaurant food, I will usually favour the homemade food over the costly restaurant food, because I can usually make the food to taste somewhat like it's professional counterpart. Except, I find, with fast food, but I can live with a bit of a different taste if it means such a difference in fat.

PS: I have never heard the word "grinder" being used to mean a sandwich before. Thank you for enlightening me
