the whole story didn't load on all the way ... odd....

hey everyone,

so today, i went to a friends house after work. we all assume we can spend the night over, and all drop in some money to buy a nice sack. actually, what happens is: the owner of the house doesn't drop any, because he smokes us out all the time; i drop $20

- but tell everyone that i'm gonna take a dime of that home for myself; and then my other two friends drop $5 each.

so we get our weed, and leave it at the owner of the house's house (e-man, let's call him...), and decide to go chill and skate at a park. so we get there, and e-man gets a call from q-yo. nobody really likes q-yo THAT much, so we ignore his call. about 1/2 an hour later, q-yo starts walking towards us out of nowhere, and we act like we never heard him calling. we chill with him for a bit.

then he finds out we are all smoking at e-man's house that night, and he's all like, "whatever, idon't smoke anymore, so i don't care" and we're like, "okay..."

then we go to get food at another friends house and q-yo comes with. we hang for a long while, and then realize that we should ask e-man's parents if it's okay for me and my other two friends to spend the night, and sadly, they say "no."

WELL....

q-yo offers for us to stay at his houes, but his parents say no aswell. so we decided to just smoke up tomorrow night instead, and now q-yo is talking about joining in, even though we never offically said he could. but we're all too nice to just be like, "no, you can't come."

i don't neccessaraly like q-yo very much, and don't want to toke with him either. but i already paid for the weed, and you can't just return that stuff to customer service, you dig?

so now i'm stuck smoking with q-yo, and one of my other friends that dropped $5 says he may not be able to chill because he has to work (i'm not sure whether that was an excuse or not)...

anyway, this is all so lame. all i wanted to do was break in my new bong with a couple of my favorite friends

Why can't you guys just save the weed for an occasion q-yo isn't around? Just because someone invites themselves along doesn't mean you have to allow it. I mean, its a bit different, because I have my own home, but if someone I didn't like showed up on my doorstep wanting to get high, I'd tell 'em to fuck off. Why are you under any obligation whatsoever to include someone who A) you don't like and B) Didn't pitch in? And why can't you just save the weed? i know you can't return it, but whats keeping you or one of yyour freinds from holding on to it a bit? Its not like weed goes bad all that quickly?!?!?!!?

I think you got a few choices:

1. Ask him to pitch some money if he smokes.
2. Smoke him up for free.
3. Tell him he can't come.

Maybe you can just ask for your split of the weed? I don't know, you gotta choose for yourself. I'd might ask if he has any weed to throw if he does end up smoking with you guys...even if you know he's not holding. Maybe he'll offer to throw some money but you might have to ask if you want some from him.

Yeah, I'd say if you're really nice just ask him to pitch, smoke him up, and put the situation behind you. Gotta make a sacrifice every so often. If it starts becoming routine and you don't really like the guy, maybe just talk to him about it.

Things like this is why I try to never buy in groups, and if I do, I on;y buy what I'm smoking that night. I also don't let the whole Annapolis stoner legion know every time I make a big purchase. I'll bust it out when I want to.

To get out of this situation, you need to just talk to him on the phone, tell him that you don't have very much weed and you want to save it for yourself/later.

Yeah...I never really quite understood the concept of how people just ever so casually invite themselves to smoke when they haven't been invited. You need to either tell him he needs to throw in money or weed, or tell him to get lost (or otherwise be forced to smoke with him).

Seriously, set a precedent here and now. Don't allow random people (it's different with friends, obviously) to smoke your weed unless they've got some money or bud to give you, otherwise, everyone else in town is gonna be looking for handouts from you.

Weed isn't that expensive, but it really isn't that cheap either. Unless you can afford to be smoking people up all the time, don't start smoking them up occasionally because they're going to expect it more and more. Just the way things seem to happen, in my experience that is.

yeah i didn't know whetehr this should go in real life stories, places and people, or general, so i went ahead with general...

but yeah, i think i'm just gonna ask him to pitch in some money, after sleeping on it, i guess i'll be nice and not mind him rolling with us if he pitches some money.

I have the same kind of person...he just invites him self along and everyone is uber annoyed. But one time we got back at him, we got back at him goood. We were smoking up in a park one time and then sits between myself and my friend as the pipe is being passed to me, so he takes it and tokes it! All of us are sitting there outraged and then i punch him in the arm. 'Yo...wtf do you think you are doing?' i say to him. He looks at me like im stupid or something and he says back 'what does it look like im doing...im smoking'. At this point the friend on the other side of him punches him in the other arm. And then i do the same and it goes back and forth a couple times before he gets the picture and leaves. But not before he stands up with the pipe and takes one last hit. What annoys me the most was how he thought he could get away with it. This guy is like 5ft and no where near as large physically as anyone of my friends. Haven't seen him in a while
