Very nice of you to take in an injured animal and give it a second chance. I hope everything turns out well, and that she is up and playing and being a kitty nuisance in no time.

We were back at the Vet again today because she was bloated and hadn't had a bowel movement. They gave her an enema, and now she is better. She hasn't hardly acted sick or injured at all, so I am still praying she will be able to come out of this ok. I will give her another enema myself, if it is needed, but I hope it isn't. I'm feeding her canned pumpkin as of this afternoon, so hopefully that will help her go more regularly. Changed her bandage/splint a little bit ago also, for the first time. Wound looks a little better.

Aw, poor kitty... I hope she gets better... are there any other options than to amputate the leg? Any chance it might get better?

She was one lucky cat though to find someone who would really fight for her instead of letting her get put to sleep, I'll say that.

Grrr... I went to post, the page encountered a loading error, so I navigated separately to the thread to check if it posted, it hadn't, and so I posted again, and when IT posted, it showed two... could a mod please delete this post or something?

We are hoping she doesn't need an amputation, but at this point, no other options have been discussed yet. She goes back for a re-check the 27th of this month, and I know we will discuss it then.

If the kitty does have to be amputated at least she's young enough now that she'll be resiliant enough to overcome it.

Congrats on saving it at least... sucks about it's legs. I'd give it to someone who could afford to take care of it.
I saved a cat that got stuck in my garage once, it ran outside and later became my friend... it's been living with us for two years now and is fat

No one would take on this responsibility, at least that I know of here. It is not easy for us financially, but I want to save this kitten.

Most people would have had her put to sleep on Monday, but I couldn't do it. She has such a strong will, and she deserves a chance at life.

She just had her canned pumpkin and Cat Lax, and now she is laying in my lap purring.

She just had her first bowel movement on her own a little while ago. She meowed while she did it, so I know it hurts her. The stool wasn't hard, but was formed, so I am not concerned that I've given her too much pumpkin.

I'll keep giving her the pumpkin with every meal, keep watching her, and back off when appropriate. I got her to lick some vegetable oil off my finger also this morning. I am just happy she went on her own. I was afraid she might have had some internal injury preventing her from doing so on her own. Now I know it just hurts her to go, so I'll try to get her stools more soft so it will be less painful.

This is a tremendous stress relief for me. I knew how bad it would be if she couldn't go on her own.
