I'm on the second week of not smoking. I know what you mean Broliette about it being habitual, this Summer i dont think i went longer than a few days without weed or an alocoholic drink. So the feeling comes and it goes...man i cant wait to smoke again

Tolerance breaks are the best, after smoking every day for a year I forgot how good weed was. I took a 2 week break then smoked a keif bowl the other night and got soooo high, I was even high the next morning.

oh sorry guys, im qutting this saturday coming up, im gonna smoke the rest of my stuff this week, all my friends think i cant go longer than 2 weeks, so i got to provve something. On october 20th ill be smoking 2 blunts to get my Budlife started up again. im gonna miss it though

Any length of sobriety will lower your tolerance. Even a week will most likely be a noticable change in your tolerance, in a month, you should be nearly close to no tolerance, if not, then it should still be pretty low. A month will do plenty good.

I havent took a break for so long, i think im in for a long due break myself. I dont know though, probably just a week or so will be good enough to drop my tolerance some.

I only quit when I have to. I'm usually a daily smoker not HEAVY but I like a nice buzz all day. I quit August 25th because I'm planning on moving up back to Maryland so I have to be able to get a job right alway to support my self. I probably be smoking as soon as I get there because I pretty much have a job lined up but we will see when I get there. I've only quit 3 times this being the third. 2 of them was mandatory because of piss tests which makes it a hell of a lot easier when the penalty is jail. I had a month long vacation in Maryland and when I came back I went cold turkey and my mom told me I was being a little bitch since I got back home HAHA. Most of the irritability has waned but I still love smoking and can't wait to start up again. The girl I'm moving in with as quit so Its nice to know you have some one sharing your experience(is that the right word?).

Good luck man, glad to see you're holding out it takes some real gusto to stick to a break like that after heavy smoking.

I like to smoke most days but I usually avoid two days in a row, unless it's the weekend of course with uni and work it's fairly hard to find times to smoke up when I have nothing to get done.

Stick with it, the results are worth it, theres a few threads about keeping your tolerance down while still getting stoned off your gourd check those out incredibly helpful.
