What about the people that cared for you? They deserve the right to have a congregation to celebrate and mourn over the loss of you. Your fucking dead - of course you wouldn't care, but the ones still living on planet earth do, no need to be inconsiderate...

I guess after the feast in my honor, a metal concert should be held. Resulting in my eternal organs which were removed before cremation being pour into an industrial fan and coating the crowd in a thin veil and mist of blood n' guts. Now that would be kickass...

idk...I want a celebration of my life! I always thought about makin a video and giving it to someone I trust...and having them play it after I'm gone. So it feels like I'm there with them (those who are there to mourne me)...and just play some music, eat some great food, etc. I'm a happy guy. I will smile down upon all those who remember me, as a fun loving guy, who was the life of the party!!

I'm thinking I want to be cremated and have my ashes thrown off the top of my favorite mountain on a windy day. I hike up there and sit on the tower at the top to think about things and just enjoy the view. Plus, there's a lot of animals and wildlife. I think that'd be a nice place to spend eternity.

As far as a funeral...I don't know. Funeral homes smell really bad, honestly, and they're so creepy. Like Spiral was saying, I think a memorial service would be better. Music, food, drinks, a pile of free joints for people to enjoy (hopefully pot will be legal by then), not necessarily a "party" but definitely a "celebration" of my life.

One thing I liked that was done at a memorial service for some family friends was a thing where everyone got a balloon, said a prayer or made a wish, and released the balloon and let it fly away. Something like that would be nice.

Hmmmm...A party or celebration sounds nice. Definitely not a traditional funeral in a church or funeral home. No ministers, priests, or group prayers...I want it be free from religion and god. I just want everyone to chill and reflect on the good times and the not so good times. And look forward to the future. :-)

No, on a serious note, a funeral really is for the living and not the dead so much as Jake pointed out. I just don't want my family to spend lots of money on saying goodbye; casket, embalming, ect. It's how you say goodbye, not what you say goodbye with.
