ok so my dealer (that ive had for a year) said that i needed to give himthe money and then hed go get it and bring it back to me. so he calls and tells me he lost it and that he'll pay me back in like a week or two!!

...don't really want to be too harsh here , but live and learn !!! If it's going to be like a week or two , he's not much of a dealer , IMO , and yeah , you probably got ripped off.

Shit happens, and yeah, you've got to live and learn.

Personally, I never front money to anyone. Trusted friend, longtime dealer, I don't care who you are, the money isn't going into your hands until the weed is coming into mine, plain and simple.

You'll just have to wait a week or two and see what happens. Good luck.

Rule numero uno of buying pot--never front the money while someone "goes and gets it" Exchange weed for money ONLY. I mean, you don't go to the grocery store, give the cashier your money, and expect him to swing by in an hour or two with your gorceries do you? Buying pot should be no different, and if you can't find someone willing to do that, you need to find a new dealer. Relying on middlemen is the surest way to assure getting ripped off

I'm not saying it happened because none of us know if he did rip you off, but even a good friend is capable of ripping you off. Theres always going to be someone out there that loses a friend because of money. Even if it's not over weed, let a friend borrow money and you might not hear from them again, they will start with excuses asking for more time to get the money, then stop answering their phone and avoid you.

i have fronted my dealer money before just because he fronts me weed some times, never anything big (no more than $40 at at time and he always pays me back in a few hours or a day or 2 at most) the only reason i do that is because he will give me random blunts at random times (like for driving him to random "sketch places" mainly dope houses mostly, but never he mentions what its for and i never really know so i figure i cant get into too much trouble doing it with the law that is), and fronts me a blunt or 2 anytime i need it. I always pay him back and he always pays me back. Just an unwritten code.

Him telling you that he lost is makes me belive that he is going to rip you off. How does a drug dealer lose money? I was ripped of one time for $70. Me and a friend were going to split a QP with a one of his friend(1 oz for me 1 oz for my friend and 2 oz for other friend.) And well me and my friend gavehim each $70 to my friends friend and when he went to pick it up he claimed he got robbed at gun point. I believe him though because he was just starting to get into dealing and stopped right after that. Who would stop dealing after jacking $140 from 1 best friend and 1 kind who he kidna knew and was on good terms with. (that might have seemed really confusing with the lack of names, but w/e)

Anyways you are bound to get ripped dealing with drugs, you just gotta live, learn, and get on with it and not make the same mistakes you made before.
