|  What I did on my day off Indy Racing LEage was having a test session at Barber Motorsports PArk. Admission was ten bucks, so my brother in law & I took the day off and went out there. The plan is to have an IRL race there in the 2009 season. There was some construction going on around the track. It looks like grandstands may be going in. Don't know yet. It was a great day. Enjoyed myself. I've got lots of pictures, as well.

| I can't get the video to work Darque!  From the one still picture I see though - looks like it was a cool looking place, a lot of greenery around (and hopefully up in smoke  ). I like race tracks that incorporate nature, rather than a collesieum type deal, imagine if we put trees and shrubs in football and hockey arenas. That would be kickass...2000th post. Righteous.

| Here's a couple of stills... This is a mob of people hounding Danica Patrick for her autograph.  She's quite the popular driver, most likely because she's got boobies.  And here's Tony Kanaan going into the hairpin (Turn Five, also knowns as "Charlotte's Web") a wee bit too hot. Note the puffs of tire smoke....  Honestly, the test session wasn't all that exciting. After all, they were just TESTING, not racing. Considering that the IRL doesn't currently rac at Barber, it was kinda cool to see how the drivbers & cars work on this course. And since it wasn't a large crowd of fans, you actually had a chance to get close to the drivers. I've got a pic of my brother-in-law with Dan Weldon, even though he was a bit rude and blew us off for his racing buddies. And did I mention that this was a day off for me?  Even better... Quote:
