Well, my home team LSU lost tonight to Kentucky, and my good friend, who's also my dealer... is out of bud for a week. I don't drink, gamble, or watch poor misguided women dance on poles, all I wanted to do was to get a little high with my friends for my birthday and it didn't happen my boss also took the company plane to Kentucky for the game... and so I can't even go flying to alleviate some of the stress. Anyone else ever had this predicament?

Yeah, I woke up another flying friend of mine with access to a small Cessna and we flew around for a while over New Orleans, was really clear last night, could see all the way from New Orleans to Gulfport, MS easily, and that takes at least 1.5 hours to drive! Today I'm picking up a nice 1/4 oz of some purps so I'm in a much better mood. A clearheaded birthday was a strange occasion for me, but wasn't all too bad. I'm thankful for another year!

You're so lucky to be a flyer! I wish I could. I have a hearing problem, so I don't know how that would affect getting a pilots license, but I'd love to do it.

After I have enough experience, I'd definitely blaze a blunt while flying. I'm sure it's not the safest thing, but even if I crash, at least I got to fly a plane high! (Also, I wouldn't take off or land when high)

SocataSmoker: That is the trouble with birthdays (or any holiday really) is what could be an otherwise nice day get ruined because of our hopes for it. A twenty first birthday just has that much greater expectations.

Sorry to hear that your birthday sucked but it sounds like things are picking up and that you are already starting to put it into perspective. Good to hear.

The OP clearly stated he doesn't drink, among other things, so this has zero effect on his birthday. I've found birthdays are like any other day.....they can only be as good or bad as you allow them to be. I turn 30 this week. While I'm not expecting any awesome presents (already got my awesome present....a new rifle my wife and my parents got for me), I am expecting a decent lunch with my wife, parents, and in-laws, and thats it. Thats how I plan on celebrating the amazing feet of staying alive for 10,950 days (give or take a few for leapyear....) After luynch, I'm going to go home, vape a bowl, and go to bed so I can work that night.

My 21st birthday was fun, but it was just another drunken night among the hundreds of drunken nights I called "college". The novelty factor wasn't that great for me.....I had been drinking in bars for at least two years before turning 21, and could buy ber at anyplace in town.
