Your parents seem way anti weed. From the sound of it, if you tell them the truth, there will be a severe punishment, so i hate to say it, but your best bet seems to lie. ( really hate to say that, lying to your parents is just wrong, but if there are going to irrationally punish you, it seems like one of your few options.)

Mine parents the same way. They feel that i am "Throwing my life away." and that "if i want to be successful in life i have to stop smoking today." They dont punish me for it cause they know it wont work and they think the current punishment that i am getting from the law seems like enough for them. Whats funny is my mom always says one of our neighbors is a genius, because he didnt go to college and makes $80,000 dollars a year and has 4 kids. I am good friends with the man's son and we go into is room and steal weed like every week (he has ounces of what looks to be kush, but im no expert.) I so want to tell my parents, "Look at him you call him a genius but he smokes it all day every day", but im never going to tell on a grown man for smoking weed.

O and by the way you dont need your parents permission to get a drivers license.

Darque you're right on, it is about perception. What I meant was they are the same in that both will result in his parents finding out he has been smoking pot, so he might get in trouble just the same even if he owns up to everything.

Anyways to the OP...careful about how you introduce pro-pot material to your mom who is completely against it....especially right after you're supposed to be proving that you don't smoke. "Hey mom I'm clean, but this is why I shouldn't be." That will buy you some more pee cups. Pass the test and stop smoking for a while. Do some research, because there is tons of information about the benefits of cannabis. A super-special-secret way to locate that info? Google Then after everything has cooled down...and you've got your license...maybe you start showing your mom the truth.

I'd go with the friend's piss in this case only because you're parents seem pretty anal about smoking. If you get caught with the piss though you'll likely be in more trouble than if you would've been honest out of the gate. But even if you get caught things will be shitty for awhile but you'll get through it. And after you're 18 I don't think they can keep you from getting a license.

Hey, go with your friends pee. I know a friend of mine that does the same thing because his mom is evil, and gives ihm drug tests. Passing the tests will shut your parents up about the drug thing, and it will save you from alot of bithcing and bullshit youll go through if you admit. I'm 16 too, and sometimes, your just better off not telling the truth to keep everything stable and normal.

Well, explain to her that you havent been smoking and she should test you with another brand and use friends piss again. Or show her resources that show the accuracy of those tests, because they are quite accurate.

She doenst know you were smoking, if she did she would not have tested you. You have a very good chance of lying your way out of it. Just say you lent the money to a friend that was buying weed, and you didnt want to tell her at first she might buy it.

damn that sucks the best bet would be to be honest but if ur going to use ur friends urine get it the day u are going for the test dont let it "brew" for a few days or weeks if all else fails tell you dad you are bringing him down with you(dont actaully do this)

If you were lending it to a friend, why would you tell her it was for weed? That's insane. If you're going to lie (and I do not condone or recommend lying to your parents, ever...), don't incriminate yourself in the process, in any way.

Also, chances are if she's testing you, she already knows. Parents know a lot more than they let on.

maybe not weed, but if he said that he was letting a friend borrow the money for legitimate purposes, she would ask why he didnt tell her that at the start, and he wouldnt really have a good answer for that.
