yea sofaking, silverado canyon is about a mile from me.

and were not evacuating cause the fire isnt close enough to us. its on the hilltops, were a mile into city.
29yeartoker, between malibu and san diego??? thats a lot of space man. you got most of l.a. then youve got the entire o.c., the a big empty space THEN san diego, its like 150 miles apart.
yes cali forest fires are natural occurances. at least all the ones EXCEPT the ones near me. the irvine fire was said to be arson. me and my bro have been chasing it down since it started. weve seen most of it. started in malibu. then been watching the one near home from as many angles as we can.
weve found a few insane views like i said before.
i live at the end of a culdesac, and when we drive down the road in the morning our view is of the mountains. so right now we see like half the mountains and half the sky is normal the other half is smoke, can see through it smoke. and we could see the fires from our street today.
its claimed a few homes, not a whole but some. and hasnt claimed any homes in my area, malibu has taken some.
i was watching the news at work today and this reporter for this one channel was showing a house that was almost gone, still smoldering. it was his house he was showing. fucking crazy shit man.
ive never seen this kind of shit. im from oklahoma so ive seen quite a few tornados, but id rather have a tornado than a fire!

I too live in GA-cobb doesnt that suck, 2 months and no water. Wtf is going to happen? No water?? Most of the lakes are already dry anyways. It needs to rain, bad.

Well there is one good thing about there being fires outside. You can smoke weed outside and people wont be able to decipher the smell. But really i hope all goes well. Does anyone know have there been any serious injuries or deaths yet because of this? I mean it really takes a fucked up mind for someone to do that. Who honestly gets enjoyment by starting massive fires. I think it could have been kids messing around and it just got way out of control.

im pretty sure there hasnt been any death or even any injuries at all.
where im at theyve done a great job at keeping it from catching houses on fire, from what i know this city hasnt had any houses go yet(correct me if im wrong)
i know in malibu theyve burned some.

and the best part about this whole thing is almost every cities cops are tending to the fire, or blocking streets.shit i saw an L.A. firetruck down here, an hour out of l.a.! me and my bro have been speeding past em, playing our music at near unbearable volumes(possibly the worlds loudest/best sounding ford escort?), smoking weed in the car and outside on the sidewalks.
and i even ran over this cops cones he set up right in front of him and dragged it for like half a mile.

I've been watching it on the news. It's a pretty big important story. You know it's a big story when SportsCenter starts reporting on it

Really, I wish you and your family well. Hope you guys keep everything.

I am from Anahiem. They showed the reporter here also. He was so calm about it. I would have been freaking out.

not sure if this is accurate, but its what i heard/read. in my area around 12 homes have burned down and theres been 2 deaths.
also an arsonist was caught aparantly.
san diego has had hundreds of homes burn down, and camp pendelton(army base) is evacuated.
if i walk out my front door and look left the hills are ablaze. damn this shit is crazy!
im glad i own a genuine gas mask, cause irvine was not only really smokey but today the smoke smelled like fuckin ass. i dont know what it was.

Seems like this happens just about every year. Take care of yourself dreamer I wish you and your family, as well as the majority (some Californians suck) population of CA is okay.

I can't believe someone would start a forest fire, knowing that it would burn so much. I wonder how they even conclude what started the fire, regardless lets hope the matter is taken care of and the firefighters continue to do a good job and try to contain the blaze.

On that note, I think it is time to blaze and go to sleep.

I'm in Foothill Ranch. Yes people have died from the fire, and over 1500 homes have burned down. Last time I heard 14 deaths.

damn inhale, where in foothill??
im at like the edge of lake forest/foothill, right by portola and lake forest dr.

are those numbers from just our area, or all the fires?
yeah its fucked up for someone to just stop, and light a hill on fire. its spreading like... well like wildfire!
shit the roads here today(or at leats this morning) there was thick smoke EVERYWHERE, you could not see any sky this morning. my neighborhood is fairly safe at the moment, although there are a few dry brushy hills in my hood.
