Well, i've been blazing for about 2 months now every weekend. And I've recently gotten braces. Going to have them for 2 years. Well I quit smoking Cigs cuz I know it stains your teeth..I dont wanna end up getting my braces off and having yellow teeth with white squares in the middle..Anyone know if marijuana smoke stains your teeth like tobbaco does?

I've had a couple friends who smoke heavily and had braces...they got them off and never had any squares or anything.

I had braces back in the day, and when you get them taken off, they really clean your teeth pretty well afterwards. They probably assume that peoples teeth will change shades while undergoing treatment.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, but it definitely wont hurt to quit smoking cigarettes.

Brush your teeth regularly (two to three times a day), use listerine and floss. Make sure the toothpaste you use has flouride. If you do those steps, you should be fine.

I had braces for a small period in my smoking career. I started smoking as I was in the final phases of braces.

Make sure you don't smoke before a dentist appointment and like others mentioned, brush and floss regularly. As long as you brush at least twice a day you carry little risk of staining your teeth. Make sure keep your gums healthy too.

I hated them at first, they hurt so much - but oh boy am I glad because I have a fantastic smile now.
