Ok I have to pick between a new glass spoon that would replace my old one. I rather dislike my metal pipe but have grown used to it.

Or

I can buy some very nice buds with that extra cash. A buddy got some beautiful nuggets that are just so tasty.
Here are some pics of what I already have, he doesn't have much more and he won't get anymore...

The buds don't look very good. I'd say get a glass pipe. Bud will taste better, and you'll have a overall better pipe. Glass is the way to go if you're smoking.

What dollar amount are we talking about?
Would it be possible to get a less expensive glass pipe and a smaller sack of buds?

Given the choices, I'd say I'd enjoy a new pipe more than those particular buds.

Its not the greatest but its a lot better than the swag that normally comes through town. I ended up saying to hell with it and bought them both. Spent more than I should have but what the hell.

But good choice getting the glass pipe. You won't regret the change. The day I bought my first glass pipe I never went back to metal.

All I can tell you is that you will benefit with glass when it comes to taste. So if your going to be smoking quality herb you should get glass so you can get all your herb has to offer. Metal does noticeably diminish the taste.
You may as well get the pipe because the little your going to spend on it won't get you that much quality bud anyway. The herb comes and goes, your pipe is permanent, at least until you break or loose it.
