So today I got my tongue pierced, and I'm wondering whether it's okay to smoke. If so, how long should I wait?

I would wait until it's healed, as in when it no longer hurt... By smoking you'd be risking really messing that thing up.

I'd also wait at least a few days. Don't quote me on this, but I believe the suction that's caused in the mouth while smoking will in some ways deform the healing of any open wounds. No worries though, the tounge heals quickly. ![]()

Well i smoked 3 hours after i got my wisdom teeth removed and nothing went wrong. Granted, i have the easiest removal of wisdom teeth for the doctor i had in 5 years (or so he said) I dont know if it is the same type of thing, but you just have to inhale very lightly, if you can its best to make like a cloud of smoke in front of your face and inhale though your nose, or though your mouth lightly. Or you could always eat it.

@steakii: I've heard that eating marijuana does not induce a high anywhere close to smoking it...

Who ever told you that didnt make it right. If cook weed the right way, it is a high MUCH more intense than smoking it. Its like a normal high times 10 sometimes. Its best to use butter but there are other ways, if your interested check out the culinary section of the forum

Sure does. A friend of mine one time bit his tounge, his teeth cuttin through 90% of his tounge and it was literally dangling there. anyways. he got it stiched and held in place. within a week was as good as new. all melded together. he said it was just a little sensitive to things like ice cream. I was also told that inside the tounge is the quickest healing part of the body.
