So get this. My boy and I smoked a bong each the other night, waited for the munchies to come on, then we went out, dressed to the nines, and had 10-course degustation with matching wines at one of Sydney's top restaurants, Tetsuya's. We managed to hold it together until about the 3rd course, after which we just pretended we were really drunk, when really we were totally baked.

Our gastronomic orgasms were so loud that the other tables stared at us in disbelief - although secretly I knew that they were wanting to have what we were having.

They even offer pre-dessert as one of the courses! PRE-dessert! What a fabulous concept! You can never have too many dessert courses, pre- or post- or whatever. Only problem was that there wasn't much to each course (that small salad lived up to its name) and we had to wait what seemed an ETERNITY for each new course to arrive - it's not like having an endless bowl of peanut M&Ms in front of you.

But if you can handle being in a crowded restaurant while you're high, then having degustation while stoned is the ULTIMATE in taste sensations. The food becomes so exquisitely flavoured that you will die the little death over and over again, and the matching wines sure don't hurt either, but be very careful not to overdo it! It will also cost you an arm and a leg, or 5, but as a special treat it's hard to beat.

I'm thinking of starting up a stoner supper club now...
