We were smoking a blunt and we found these two small dogs. They weren't puppies. I don't know the name of them (terrier?). One is white and black and one is white and tan. They are afraid of my dog who is like many times bigger because she is a lab and retriever mix.

There is nothing in the local classifieds about someone looking for them or anything. I hope we don't have to take them to SCPA. We drove around my neighborhood, smelling like weed asking people walking around if they know these dogs. None of them have. People didn't care if they smelled it because they still have respect for someone doing good things and not harming anyone.

Awww...that is soo sweet of you to take them in. I would post pictures with a phone number in the area in case they do belong to someone around there. Give it some time if you can for them to respond. If they don't and you do have to take them to SPCA, please know that small dogs usually get adopted faster than the larger ones. The reason for that is there are so many people living in apartments and can't keep a large dog. Elderly usually like smaller dogs as they can handle them better. There are many reasons people like small dogs. Me, myself, I like all sizes. I have a step ladder from a large part wolf/Siberian Husky to a little pug. I don't descriminate at all.

Good luck with them and I can't wait to see there photo. I bet they are soo adorable. Kudo's to you for being such a sweetie!!

I found a kitten the other day in my back yard. It was skinny as a rail, I fed it some tuna (it ate the whole can, thats how hungry it was) and now it comes back every day for food, so i feed it.

If you do not find the owners, you could always give them to someone who wants them instead of giving them to SCPA

Sorry it's in black and white but that's how I saved it as because colored ink for flyers is expensive.

Ohhh, they are adorable. They look like lapsa apsa (sp?) doggies. Don't apologize for the black and white it looks great. I love black and white photos. Yes, I'm sure they belong to someone. Hopefully you will find their owners soon.

you should post "reverse lost signs" (aka Found signs) All you can do is hope the owner(s) see them a call you. One Time me a old friend were walking to McDonalds and saw a German Shepard run across the road (bear in mind this is no ordinary road.. it was HIGHWAY 99) We ended up taking it back to her house and spending the night with him. Contacted the # on the tag again the next morning (no one answered the first few times) and got hold of the owner who gave us a 24 dollar reward.

Some cute looking pups. Very hairy and no offense, but one of the uglier breeds - although thats what makes them so purty.

Keep us updated on finding their owners, your doing a good deed Jake. If you can't find the owners what will happen to the lil' doggies?

I'll probably take them to the SPCA or animal control. SPCA will house them and won't kill them. Animal control I think would hold on to them for a while, and if anyone sees the pictures we put up, they can call, and we'll direct them there. KNowing my father, we can't have them past this weekend

Oh please don't take them to Animal Control. They usually only hold them for about three or four days. Please I beg, please take them to SPCA if the owners don't respond.
