I'm in a serious relationship, and in all likelihood this is the girl I will be having my children with. It's been discussed between us many times.

I really like the name Mary Jane, it was my aunt's name and if I had a daughter I would like to give her that name, but it's kind of weird because since I'm a smoker it has such a strong association with weed. Would you name your daughter Mary Jane?

Also, what are names you would like to name your kids, or what have some of you named the kids you already have?

Being 17, I'm sure I don't want kids now, but in the future if I decide to have children... I don't know what I would want to name them. If it was possible I'd let them chose, but seeing as most children are in utero or very small (and not of talking age), that's not feasible.

I think I'd like to give my son, if I have one, the name or middle name of John though. After my maternal Grandfather.

No.. I wouldn't name my daughter Mary Jane. I'm not a fan of the name Mary, or the name Jane.. I don't like referring to marijuana as "Mary Jane", and I've never been fond of the Alanis Morissette song "Mary-Jane".
In short.. no child of mine will be named Mary Jane.

As an 'old fart' , I don't much go for the trendy names. Mary Jane is a cool name, reminiscent of the 50's & 60's. reminds me of a Leave It To Beaver episode...this little girl the 'Beav' is babysitting is badgering him with "I want Mary Jane!"

Anyway, I think it's a cool name!

i might name my daughter mary jane, id probably have jane as the middle name though just so it wouldnt be so obvious

I too think its a cool name. It has a good ring to it , I mean wasn't Spiderman's girl named Mary Jane?

I plan on naming my kid after me, as my father did to me, and his father to him. The name I carry has been passed down for 7 generations.
