| Because I support stoners and love weed, I am going to quit for quite some time. Its so not worth it for me right now. 1. Living on college campus (few privacy rights) 2. $20,000 worth of scholarships at stake (if I get an alcohol or drug charge - bye bye $) 3. Under risk of being kicked out of housing, college, or having permanent transcript record 4. Hair and urine tests for jobs and internships all over me at this point 5. Having a drug charge will affect me getting jobs in the future. Obviosuly, none of those have anything to do with actual effects of weed. Its all government. law, campus policy, scholarship policy bullcrap... I think by quiting I will only prove to myself than I am not an addict, that weed is not addictive, and that weed isn't going to prevent me from accomplishing my goals. | Good choice. I got kicked out of my dorm about 3 weeks of living in it. I still had to pay $3000. Lucky i still get the only scholarship i had as the only requirement is a 3.0 or higher gpa and nothing else matters. Quitting isnt hard at all and you will probably feel more open minded after a few days of soberness. |

| I think that's a good call. Only smoke weed if you are ready to deal with consequences that would come with getting busted. Weed is much more enjoyable when your not greatly paranoid about getting caught. Hopefully one day, in the near future, you can enjoy this wonderful herb again. |

| Good for you MonarchX. Sometimes it can be a good thing for someone to take a sabbatical to refresh the mind and body. To be a safe smoker we have to be smart and responsible about how and when we use cannabis. Just think the day you have that next smoke will be elation ![]()
