Red eye that won't go away?

So last night I smoked with some friends of mine. I hadn't smoked for awhile so I got pretty high, and my eyes got EXTREMELY red.

I had to go home a little bit later for my dad's birthday dinner, so I put in some visine just like I always do. The red eye didn't go away , so I put in a few more and went to a gas station to get some gum. When I got back in the car they were still red as shit. I took my friend home after putting in even more eye drops and my eyes still weren't clearing up. It was weird, sometimes they would look alright, then I'd look back in my mirror and they were back to being totally bloodshot (Or "shit bad" as I described them to my friend at the time haha)

Has anything like this ever happened to anyone? and do you do anything besides put i eye drops to clear up red eyes?

I have never herd of this, maybe the eyedrops were expired or left in a car in high temperatures to reduce the effectiveness. Everytime i put them in within 10 minutes my eyes are white.

Now that I think about it, it probably was something retarded like that on my part. I don't know where those particular eye drops are right now but I should probably take a look at them and see what the deal is.

could you have pinkeye?

Was it Visine or some off brand? I've tried a few off brands and some work well, some don't work at all.. Clear Eyes is the best though.

haha yeah I love Clear Eyes it works better if not just as good as visine. I have had the same trouble before, but only very rarely. I actually think it could be that you put too much in and it irritated your eye, then you put even more and more in so it just didnt help at all. I dunno just a guess, could have to do with temp and expiration or something.
