Hi folks,
I work in a bar and this past weekend, some people I know got really shitfaced. They started fighting and just raisin hell. I had no choice but to call the police.These people were almost falling down. Just for the record. I won't serve people in that state of drunkenes. Any ways the cops showed up and helped them get into their cars so they could drive theirselves home.
After everything was said and done, they wanted to search me and my car which I allowed because I am a known toker. What a joke ,huh. I don't drink. I also work a full time job at the same place for over twenty years and never been in trouble in my life except for a misdemeanor possession charge of mj. P.S. Coke ,crank or any of that other shit ain't my cup of tea , either.

I hate the pigs, notihng better to do than search you, FOR NO REASON, you should should of denyed them permission, they didnt even have probable cause.

You are aware that these same "pigs" (your term, not mine) will save your life if they see you jacked up somewhere? They will also work to find someone who steals from you or threatens you, regardless of your criminal history.

Yeah, sometimes police seem harsh, but understand that they are only as harsh as they laws they are sworn to enforce.

Should you lay on the side of the road as a result of a car accident and are about to bleed out and the cop is giving you CPR trying to keep your ass alive, you're not going to come off with your "fuck pigs" attitude.

You called the cops because some people got "shitfaced" drunk and starting fighting. That makes sense. Then the cops arrived and helped the drunks into their cars so they could drive home drunk. That part makes no sense. Were these cops from Bizarro World, where logic is backwards?

I asked that cop that, too. About probable cause. He said and I quote: Since I was already arrested once{11 yr's ago} that that was probable cause...

Must be some crazy small town....really small town....

Don't take it to court or anything, but maybe get a judge to sign a statement about past convictions not being probable cause. Past convictions are nothing but a reasonable suspicion, I believe. Don't pull the statement out or anything during an encounter, but perhaps show the specific cop that past convictions are not probable cause, you know the law, and that you know a judge....
