|  Crisis in Tibet Dalai Lama calls for international probe into Tibet crackdown - International Herald Tribune Did anyone else think "Buzzby" as soon as they saw the pic? lol.... Anyways, it's the Dalai Lama saying Tibet is facing cultural genocide. Calls for international probe into crackdown. All but 12 of the 6,000 monasteries in Tibet were destroyed by the Chinese military.....getting kind of scary now. Now discuss. EDIT: Here's a video of the riots in Tibet, courtesy of AlJazeera.
