J and I went to mom's this past Saturday. She was doing okay. I was able to wash her hair for her and I cut it. I was very surprised that she was able to sit up long enough for me to do all of that. She didn't go into an attack. That was a good thing. We finally told her that we are going to clear the land for her. She started crying. She couldn't believe that J had set the entire thing up for her. She agreed to go into a care center for her mobile home to be moved. She wants to go see it once the land is cleared. She is going to talk to the nurses to see if they will bring her a wheelchair and a breathing machine that plugs into a cigarette lighter for that day. She actually has something to look forward to. J is feeling indifferent on the idea. He feels like he is helping her die. I thought of the same thing but at least I know if it does happen shortly after, she will die happy. All in all we had a good visit with her.

29,
You all are a blessing. Giving back so much love to your Mom has to be everything she could possibly wish for.
If she lives on she'll be all the stronger,
if she moves on, it'll be on your angel wings...

so much love...

Sterbo, you are so great with words... it's truly moving at times,

Wow, that is great. It always brightens my day when a wish can be fulfilled, any wish no matter what size. I hope your mother is well enough to see the land being restored to its beauty and have enough time to enjoy living at her new place. I know I really have no matter in the say, but I think a happy passing is always the best. We all hope our last days are spent with surrounded by smiles and lots of love,

take care 29yeartoker.

That's really good to hear, 29!

As for helping her die, my personal opinion is that everyone will die eventually so you might as well make them happy before they do. Something is better than nothing. Though, I do hope your mom will enjoy many more years.

Well we are all ready to go this weekend. Everything has fell into place. The only thing that is left is the dumpster and that is just a phone call away. I have contacted a utility guy that will go out and repipe the water and sewer lines so they will be ready to hook up to her mobile home. I am just waiting for some moving companies to call me back which I guess I will have to call them again. She only wants one of two to move her and neither one has called me back. But I am not that worried yet I will continue to call them to get that part of it set up. Otherwise she will have to settle for a different company.

I'll let you all know how it goes.

We went out and cleared her land this past Saturday. It went very well. Most of it got cleared and then the bobcat ran over a peice of metal and it sliced the tire. He said he will come back with it in a couple weeks to finish it. I felt so bad....I offered to replace the tire but he wouldn't let me. These people were great. They didn't charge us and we had 9 guys besides J that went out there. It is looking really good. The guys went in to meet my mother 3 at a time and they were so nice and respectful. My mother was so happy and it felt good to see a smile on her face.

We will go back and finish it in a couple of weeks and in the meantime we are working on getting her water/sewer pipes ran. We have a friend that is getting us an electric pole with the box and then we will get her mobile home moved. This is a huge start and now we can see some light at the end of the tunnel. It is a great feeling.

Glad to hear everything's going well! Except for the tire, that is. Good luck from here.

Whatever you never told your mother about stupid things you did, do it now.

PS On her death bed, give her some of the best weed you can possably find, it will ease the pain, esp emotional trauma.
