Ok so I have been running across what we call down here KB weed, it's basically high quality weed running about $20 a gram. Mersh down here is like $20 for 1/4 $30 for 1/2 etc. But I was wondering, with KB prices being much higher than mersh prices, why would a grower choose to grow mersh and not higher quality bud?

Is it difficult to harvest kind buds that go for $20 a gram? what am I missing here?

Maybe i'm just too high to realize what it is, but somebody help me!

For kb to be grown correctly, certain conditions must be meet. This can be fairly expensive, but more profit making. Mersh (im guessing that is schwag) is pretty much just planted somewhere and picked later with minimal effort. People would choose to grow it from the simplicity of it.

Though steak is pretty much in tha general area, it's a little less cut and dry than that...or maybe more so i guess. Mersh is usually a commercial grown weed, true. You go down to Mexico or whatever and you get these massive farms that mass produce weed. Think McDonalds. Shitty Burgers. You get a home grower and their bud is gonna be much better...think Fourth of July Barbecue burgers. Much better.

But there is also another twist to it. You get a bag of mersh and pull out tha seeds, grow 'em with some tender loving care and you will end up with KB. Reason? Some mersh or middies are really just tha underdeveloped buds off of a nice KB plant. You press it down and toss it around, plus it was runty anyways and you are gonna rub off a majority of tha surface trichomes. This is usually tha case when you get some schwag, break it open and find it's much higher quality.

Also, as buds dry and age, their trichomes degrade...remember, Entropy always increases. This will adversely effect tha quality. Just like anything, there is always a greater deal of mechanics hiding below tha surface than you''d originally expect.
