| So.. I've pretty much haven't done shit in 2 weeks. I'm basically taking a month off. So anyways, my days usually start off with a wake n' bake and chill out and watch cartoons. I was sleeping and heard this louder thunder like sound that keeps coming above my house. I mean, this shenanigans is loud dudes! I finally fall back asleep. Maybe a few hours later, I wake up and just feel like getting as high as possible. So I am just sitting in my living room smoking a joint. I get super high. Now, I am usually a paranoid dude, but not to the extremes. All of a sudden, I hear these planes flying over my house. My home is in a path of an airport, I've heard planes before, but they are not like this. I mean, this shit is like super loud, And goes by super fast. My first thought was I was in the middle of the drug war, and the DEA wants my head. Finally, I can't take this loud noise anymore, and I look outside.. And I think its the truckin' blue angels jet stunts out in my fucking backyard dude. I think I heard something about them being in town. So, I am just chilling in my back yard in my underwear high as fuck looking up at the jets fly over head. It's crazy. OH SNAPS, I JUST LOOKED OUT MY WINDOW AND SAW IT AGAIN! |

| I try to be here on the San Francisco Bay each year when the Angels fly. I've was once on the rooftop of a commercial downtown building that we had under construction when they flew a street loop, coming in low between building tops. I've laid on my back out on the cliffs out the Headlands as they make their reverse passes back to the Golden Gate Bridge and had them fly a couple of hundred feet right over my body. And the very best rush was once when I was sailing a 24' sloop over in the 'slot' by Chrissy Fields' which is their bread & butter run. My son and I were just completing a tack and as the boom (and sail) cleared my head, one jet was literally no more than 50 or 60 feet off the water as he passed directly over our heads. Given that the boat's mast is 25', , get the picture? The only other rush even remotely akin to that was the following year when I was anchored off Angel Island and they brought a Stealth Bomber in wide and low through the straights, coming dead at, and over us. My heart still bumps the wild one whenever I remember it ![]() Thanks for the memories Freedom_User... ![]()

| I live right next to Oceania Air base in Virginia. Home of the blue angels. I get to see them and many other planes flying around the area. Sometimes its cool. But sometimes the jet noise can get annoying. especially while taking tests.

| I live in Annapolis, also the home of the Blue Angels. Home of the Navy and all. I live only about 3 blocks from the football stadium. The first blue angel of the year always gives me a good scare! And they usually get annoying, but only if you're inside. Getting annoyed by the planes is just their way of telling you to come outside and enjoy the weather! So many people are feeaking about planes lately.

| ![]() The imagery of a stoned, redeyed dude running into his garden in only his underwear and staring frantically into the air is too much!
