My wife is pregnant. Many of you know, and thank you for your congratulations btw, but until now it was too early to find out tha gender. I've got two boys and it's been an argument we've had for some time, my wife wants a girl and I wanted another son. I figure with two already another one would be easier than if we had a daughter. Sure, I always here about how they are "daddy's little girl" and whatnot but, damn...to be honest and really simplify things...with a boy I only gotta worry about HIS penis. With a girl I gotta worry about EVERY OTHER PENIS in tha world. Sure I'm well aware that this is flawed reasoning that is not on par with today's upwardly mobile, open minded, mold breaking society but that is tha simplest way to put my most embryonic thoughts. Little girls make me nervous.

Today was Tha Ultrasound. Tha big one that would say "penis" or "vagina" for sure. I think tha guy was fucking with us because we sat there for a half hour while he measured tha head and bladder et al ad nauseum. He looked at me with a sly look in his eye after I had said something about another son and my wife corrected me with a terse "daughter" and asked me: "So...you wanna know tha gender" and grinned.

Two swipes and a murmur of discomfort later and I was looking at three uneven lines. Two solid ones a good inch long and a faint one in tha middle that was about half that. Took me a second to get traction in my brain before I realized "thigh, penis, thigh"

A son. I'm having another soldier to carry my name into tha future

Though I'm somewhat kidding about that whole 'game of numbers' thing, I am happy to be having another boy. Cooler toys, rougher play, get to teach 'em how to be a man, watch them grow, have those "father son" moments. I couldn't express how much love I have for tha two I already got, can't wait until I got a third trying to put on my shoes and wear my cologne.


but my poor wife never gets her girl. I think three is enough.

Parenting is awesome, but grandparenting is perfection!!

I popped out a boy and a girl the first time (twins), figured it wouldn't get any better than that. My son is the first to be a parent, he has two beautiful daughters. He would love to be in your shoes - he's had more than his share of female influences in his life. He was really hoping for a boy this last time.

I'd be lyin if I said that I didn't want a daughter in tha least. I do. Kinda hoped this one would be a girl in a way, even though I don't like to admit to that. MUCH happier that it's another son.

September 9th is tha newest due date. Virgos are cool. I'll teach him to code like his daddy and big brothers, he'll probably take to it faster than either of 'em. So far my oldest actually has muscle definition and works out constantly. He wants to be a pro athlete/programmer/break dancing ninja and my youngest (read: soontobepissedaboutbeingmiddlechild) wants nothing more than to rock your world with a guitar in hand.

And he's four!

So, help me y'all. I need another boy name that starts with "D" (it's a theme we fell into accidentally)

Already got one named Dominik and one is Deven. Thinking of Dante for #3
