| Everytime I've gotten high, it's lasted for a couple days. I'm not high as if I just took a few hits, but I feel...very chill. I definitely don't feel 100% sober. I smoked almost 24 hours ago, but I'm having trouble focusing, my speech is a little slower. I just feel extremely calm and carefree. The thing is, though, is that my friends tell me that they haven't noticed a difference. So I'm thinking that maybe since I'm still fairly new to smoking, perhaps this is all in my head. Is everybody like this when they first started smoking? And if instead of BUMPing my old thread, it turns my dealer does have various strains available. I tried some Purple(he just called it Purple), which he told me was Sativa. I had some of it last night...and wow. It was a completely opposite experience from the Kush. Everything was funny as hell. Even though I had seen the episode before and I knew what was going to happen, I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. I also felt like I was flying. I think it may have been that I just saw Iron Man(awesome movie), but I literally floated in one spot for almost 30 minutes. And by "Floated," I mean I was unable to sit down. I stayed in one spot and swayed left and right as it I were in the air. Even when I finally did sit down, I still swayed in every direction. When I looked at my friends, it felt as if they were miles away from me. I truly felt "High," both physically and mentally. Afterwards I didn't feel stuck at all. I stayed sitting on the couch, but because I was actually tired. I was still able to get up whenever I wanted. My friends are also starting to get jealous of me. They've all been smoking since they were young, and they smoke all day every day. They keep telling me that after seeing me act, fell, and describe the way I do, they only wish they could experience those sensations again. Hearing them say that is what's keeping me from getting high everyday. Even though I have some sitting if front of me right now, I know that with every session the feeling it just going to become more and more dull. I know it won't happen over night, but I still don't want to ruin it. |

| I don't see where being high for 24hours is bad.. I use to smoke allot a few months ago. But now, I am smoking about 3 joints a week. Coming up to that moment, I get a higher high. As to if I just smoked 3 joints a day. I like that feeling much better.

You should read "The Tolerance Factor". I used to hang with a group that smoked high-quality weed like people chain-smoke cigarettes. They barely got a buzz. I'd take a few hits off of one j and be flying for a couple of hours.

| I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I was just curious as to whether or not others have had the same or similar experience. I only smoke on my weekends, that way I know I have absolutely nothing to do for two days. I smoke on the first day, and then the next day I feel buzzed for the entire day. I wasn't sure if it my tolerance levels, the quality of marijuana I've been smoking, or if it's just all in my head. Quote:
I have one friend who wakes up and smokes, smokes before work, smokes at work, smokes after work, smokes in any freetime he may have, and smokes before bed. That is his routine and it has been for years. I'll try to convince him to not smoke as much, but with his life style and social life, I doubt he has the self control to just say no when his coworker invites him to smoke. | |
