Yeah definitely get a pipe if you can and a pack of rolling papers. Use the pipe to smoke and the papers to practice rolling til you get it right. Rolling is definitely something you continually get better at over time. Welcome aboard and enjoy btw.

Yes definitely get a glass pipe as others have stated. I'm relatively new also and can't roll joints very well so I just use a pipe. If you don't get high the first time don't worry. I probably didn't get high till maybe the 6th or 7th time. But you'll definitely get there.

I think the business about pipes made of anything but glass giving off "toxic fumes" is an urban myth and a lot of nonsense. People have been smoking out of wood and metal pipes for hundreds of years and I've never heard of anyone having adverse effects. The best tobacco pipes are made of briar (wood) or meerschaum (stone). Hookahs are made of brass (metal). Considering how much tobacco people smoke as compared to cannabis, you'd think tobacco smokers would be dying left and right from the "toxic fumes". They're not.

If you want to learn to roll a joint, start out practicing with rolling tobacco. It's like rolling with training wheels. I prefer Drum brand cigarette tobacco. It's cut in long narrow strips the lay out beautifully along the length of a paper, it's moist and flexible, and it doesn't have any stems that will pierce the paper. Once you can roll a perfectly cylindrical cigarette, it's time to move on to the weed, which tends to be in smaller particles, is dry and crumbly, and, unless you are very careful, will have sharp bits that can pierce your paper.

So i think ill just get a pipe untill i get better at rolling. So with a pipe i just putt he weed in light it and inhale the smoke am i correct?

I have compiled Five easy steps on 'You and your pipe' tutorial.

Step One: Grind up weed. (Hands or grinder)
Step Two: Hold the pipe in one hand
Step Three: Put desired amount of weed into pipe
Step Four: Use both hands and light weed with a lighter
Step Five: Inhale(This is where Bill Clinton messed up)

It's amazing how easy it can be, eh?

Rolling paper bro, and just get yourself a cigarette machine and roll your j's that way to start. and you can never have too much. you would have to smoke like double your body weight in 15 minutes to die or something like that, and that wont happen
