Ok, I got High for the first time last friday(May 2nd) I smoked weed out of a bubbler. And yesterday(wednesday) I got these White little puss pockets in my throat. I told my mom my throat hurt and she got a flashlight and looked in my throat. Ive had strep throat like two times this past year so she thought it was that. I have a docters appointment at Kaiser at 9:30 today. So can weed do this to ur throat if youve done it for the first time? and If it is becuase of weed will the docters tell my parents? Any help would be very good right now.

if your tonsils are white, they're infected. i get these exact same symptoms about 2x a year, and it's always tonsillitis.
come on dude, don't be so paranoid, it's not because you're smoking weed, you're just sick. seriously...

and for future reference, NO, a doctor will not tell your parents anything you tell him or her in confidence. it's against the law no matter how old you are.

I would suggest probably taking a break from smoking when you're doing your medicine/antibiotics or whatever. Kind of a common sense thing but just throwing that out there. I know when I had a sore throat, smoking didn't necessarily hurt it more but it prevented it from getting better.

Not true. If you are a minor, it is the doctor's option to reveal anything to your parents except very specifically restricted items, such as STDs and other sex-related issues.

It sounds like you've got another case of strep, or some other kind of infection. Smoke irritates the tissues of your throat, which may make you more susceptible to infections.
