Any person with "psychic" abilities needs to be thrown in prison for negligence.

If you have the ability to see the future (ie - 9.11, titanic, etc), you needs to speak up before it happens.

This bullshit about Nostradomus predicting 9/11 and WW2 and the like (Hister, a river is 1 letter off from hitler) need to stop "future telling" after the fact. It's only predicting the future if you do it before the shit happens! Vague "Great fortune will befall you" and "a great peril will arise in your life" can be applied to anything.

"Goddamnit, I dropped my pudding, this must be a great peril!"

i think thats a pretty fucked up thing to say, my friend in no way needs to be thrown in prison. hes helped a bunch of people, and its not like hes using a magic crystal ball that can foresee something happening thousands of miles away.

i respect the fact you dont believe in tarrot cards, but saying psychichs should be thrown in jail for negligence is pretty ignorant

What if we calmly and politely escorted them to jail?

Well, I can safely say since psychic powers don't exist, no one deserves to be thrown in jail for having negligence associated with psychic powers.

I was more using it as an example.

If psychic power don't exist, why do I see auras? Do I need to be locked away to keep me from influencing people who don't see them?

Why have I had lengthy conversations in my mind with my friend(s) back and forth and later on each recalled details only I could know if it didn't really happen?

Because you're DaDornta. I don't think I'd expect it to happen to anyone else

Thanks Dark...you make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

Trocisp...sometimes I myself feel insane...and then I look at the great writers, artisans, poets, genius's and prodigies and I see one common thread--they were all "on the fringe".

It's perfectly fine to hold views and values such as your own. Every experience from being an amoeba to a rock to an entire galaxy needs to be experienced.

Some of us must have wanted to experience different things/more things -- and if that person isn't strong enough they go the way of the asylum.

I know I'm "crazy" to most people. I enjoy it, revel in it and use my imagination and creativity to brighten and color my reality.

I see the reality as a mental construct, just as dreams are.

Also, many shamans in indigenous cultures were termed "crazy" or "insane" by Western explorers...but also highly venerated and respected by their own people. We have weird ways of being effective, but time and trial/error have honed our craft into something that works.

*shrug* that's just how I feel. . .

I encourage you to feel however you want to feel.

Pragmatically, the only thing I care about is the way you treat other people.

If you allow people to live the way they choose, without enforcing, screaming, yelling, etc your beliefs, or your beliefs don't violate other peoples rights (rather, your beliefs don't compel you to violate other peoples rights), you're welcome to be as crazy as you want to be.

Indeed faith cannot "prove" anything. Experiences can. I have had said experiences, and do not base my beliefs solely on "faith".

I study my way waist deep in metaphysics and esoteric/ancient teachings...and have learned to tell the sh*t from the shine-o-la.

You don't have to question the real thing...because it's right there and it's REAL.

What someone tells you is just speculation, opinion, or hearsay until you experience it yourself. The direct-felt-presence of experience is the most real thing you have.

Everything is real, everything is fake. Everything just is everything.
