So a me and a bunch of classmates (about 40) were playing dodgeball in a local park tonight like we do every Wednesday and a couple other times a week. A couple of my friends came back from a fire call right as the lights were automatically shutting off at 10.We decided to pack a bowl and walk down a path as everyone else was dip setting. We were smoking and saw a cop pull up to the parking lot circled and went past towards a pool. We waited and finished the bowl after 5-10 minutes. Lit cigarettes to mask the smell (im not a big smoker by the way) and began to walk back. On the way a cop car headed back down the driveway of the park flashed its lights kind of and left. We decided it was cool, and headed back into the open, contemplating smoking a celebratory bowl. All of a sudden, another cop car pulls out from the same spot and we scatter back. The cop is slowly leaving and says out the microphone, " Alright guys pack it up." They didnt see us but our cars were parked in an empty lot. These cops are evolving, using decoys that must have been lurking for a while to try and nab meddling teens (damn quotas). Tricky move, but it gave me and my buds a laugh.

Smoking bud at a park at night (or anytime for that matter) is not a good idea.

your right, there is no evidence of a quota, i was just making light of the fact that small town cops have nothing better to do than find clever ways to catch teenagers, like super troopers.

around where i live a lot of bike cops are like that too, one time my friends were under a bridge as we walk above it i heard them and went under it to find them rolling a blunt. then one of my friends went down there too but was pretty obvious about it and a bike cop saw him. as soon as he saw him go under, he gets off his bike and really slowly walks to the bottom and surprises us all.

Don't smoke in a park, or parking lot and when you see one cop that should be enough clues to say "hey, let's smoke somewhere else." you got lucky this time but come on man, a cop passed you and then you proceeded to toke some more, your really lucky and I hope you are more careful, parks are stoner traps at night.

Dude, if you are smoking out of a pipe, be sure to have some loose tobacco (like that legal bud stuff, especially something that doesn't look like marijuana, and has a rather strong odor.) that you can stuff in it and start smoking if a cop comes. "Mr. Officer, it is just tobacco, do you want some?"

they could just do a test on the pipe for weed residue. bam, paraphanelia charge right there. thats why i like smoking joints in public easy to dispose of and then i got nothing on me.

if they did have a 'quota' then he would have tried to find you, not warn you.

i had a super trooper experience once, cause the cop used a line from it.
my bro got arrested once and me and my cousin were with him, after they already were going to arrest him they asked us 'where were you guys headed?" i told my house 1 block away, and he said 'ooh almost made it' i would have laughed but my bro was in the back of the cruiser so it wasnt that funny.
