ok so answer me this. In a single payer system who pays what? Say I am a business paying (x) amount of dollars into my companies insurance plan. If all competition is gone and only one company(the Fed Gov't) offers health insurance . Do I still have to pay the companies part of the premiums any more? Is all of the burden now on employees? Who does the burden now fall on ?

AFter answering the first list ; answer me this. Say I am an idividual now paying for my famies insurance will I continue paying my part of the insurance my company provides for me?Will it just be provided by the Gov't? My question is still..who pays for it and how?

Anyway you cut it .....the people who are now paying for insurance will either have to continue to pay the same for less coverage or more for the same coverage. The reason being is that is 50 million people don't/cant afford insurance now....how the HELL are they going to contribute to the cost of of insurance not only for that 50 million but the 250 million who already have insurance? Somebody is going to have to pay for all this.
